hello - C&H are stating Sonny Perkins has 12 months left on his contract and this is an agents way of drumming up interest perhaps where there is none. If he has 12 months left it does alter the position abit. Anyway now the window is open - we will be linked with dozens of players, some we like, some we won't, surely DM and his backroom team know the squad was too thin last year but it is important to get the right people in and build on what we had, so I'm reading all the reports of who we have missed and underbid on - whilst I hold much hope that we will get players in to improve the squad again.

Hmmm and so much for Kresinsky's backing? And why are we making moves for 16 and 17 year olds when we are apparently willing to let Perkins leave? I don't understand what's going on? Why does it take 4 weeks to get aguerd and areola deals over the line? Why is it always a long drawn out process?

Hlozek should of been 100% . But we've missed that one and I trust in moyes but 100% we need a top striker, a top center mid . Possible a winner and a center half . BUT every signing other than vlasic and kral . Moyes has pulled it out the bag . We all no benrahma wasn't moyes choice but I still love and enjoy watching the little fella . Next year is our year. High chance we will look back in a few years time and rue not signing hlozek.

Hugill and Evra were poor signings.

Not bringing in a striker when we have needed one for 3 windows and not making a signing at all in January when we were pushing top4 and europa are both huge transfer failings.

If he doesn't get this window right and we fail to qualify for europa minimum we will lose Rice and Bowen for sure.

I can see the above scenario in my mind right now. Rice and Bowen sold right at the end of the transfer window - Sullivan laughing all the way to the bank as he allows Moyes to sign some 35+ year old journeymen replacements at 11.59pm on the 31st August.

Spot on Iron.A1 we pick out players we know we have absolutely zero chance of signing and pretending we are bidding for that player making it look like we are looking at top players, well I've got news for the D'S we ain't that fickle or naive and we are sick to the back teeth of it,either put up or shut up the saying, is talks cheap money pays for houses well the board have done the talking let's buy some body's not houses.
