So right now Lingard’s goal against us is the difference between reaching the EL with a win at Brighton and not having to worry about ManUtds last game….
That said if we turn over City after they play tomorrow and with their decimated back line resembling ours,

Last minute goal at OT where Bowen lost the ball and Fredericks was all over the place, missed penalty at home in the last minute. Sometimes these little things come back to haunt you, but reality is that there are lots of them over a season and the table doesn't lie. We dropped points to last minute goals a few times, missed some chances in games, it really only stands out when you try to look back at specific moments because they were against specific teams. We should have beaten Burnley away, we should have beaten Palace at home, shouldn't have lost to Brentford at home, shouldn't have drawn with Brighton at home, lot's of opportunities to have 3 more points at least. But hey two games to go and everything to play for. Man City aren't unbeatable, let's hope for the best.

At the end of the day, we should of beat a few teams but we probably also should of drawn games that we won so it evens itself out at the end of the day! The league positions are what they are and teams are in the correct spot.
