I've been reading all the comments below and I've made up my mind (we've all got an opinion) and I think Zouma should be sacked, like Ed said if that was a kid he would be out the door already, I've got my own company and if someone who worked for me done that then they would be out the door as it was a completely disgusting act, it would also severely damage my company and reputation if I kept that person employed, the only reason Zouma is still here is because we haven't really got back up, if Caleta-Car was signed then Zouma wouldn't be anywhere near the squad. Also the next time we try to negotiate a shirt sponsor, who will be interested in putting their business on our shirt, do they really want to see Zouma advertising their business, sorry if you don't agree but we've got to get rid, Zouma as a player is brilliant but as a person not so good.

I have to say Stevie I’m 100% with you and it breaks my heart as a fan of our club, he is a very very good player he’s proved that but if this is what he is like as a person off the pitch then me personally think it’s not what we want, it was damn right disgusting what he did. Sponsors dropped him, sponsors are slowly dropping us one by one, we don’t have the best name in the leauge, and this certainly isn’t helping, everyone including Moyes is wishing we bought a centre back now. But at the same time, I don’t know if I trust diop

Stevie66 As a company owner you would sack Zouma writing off 30 million. He would then sign for another club as a free agent on probably 5-10 million signing on fee and another team gets a 30m player for 10 million. Zouma gets richer, the team he signs for get a bargain and poor old West Ham who have not done anything wrong lose 30 million. Don't think that is a very good business plan.
I am like most others absolutely disgusted by his behaviour but terminating his contract serves no purpose whatsoever.
Embarrassing him in front of 50,000 fans like DM did on Tuesday is the way to go, he was booed every time he touched the ball, this will continue everywhere he plays home and away. He has been fined a 1/4 of a million pounds, had his cats taken away and been shown up to the whole of the uk and France where he has lost his place in the national team.

Gerry, hi mate, yeah absolutely I would sack him that way I would keep all my customers and probably get a pat on the back and told I’ve done the right thing, where as if I kept someone like that employed then I would lose my customers, investors, and my business.

Gerry, Moyes didn’t play him to embarrass him, he played him to win a football match, and being fined a 1/4 of a million pounds is nothing to a multi millionaire and as for his cats then they’re probably better off being somewhere else, and if Zouma has lost his place in the National team then he should’ve thought about what he was doing before he bloody did it, he’s only got himself to blame, he is dragging West Ham as a club down with him, sponsors are already cutting ties with West Ham and that’s not good.

Everyone is absolutely entitled to an opinion Stevie and I respect yours. However you say as Ed said ‘if that was a kid….’ But it wasn’t a kid. Now to some that won’t matter, to others it will. I will never see a cat as equivalent to a human child. And even if it was in some peoples eyes why is Alonso still playing?

As I said before, but must have upset someone with a part of the post as it didn't appear?, completely respect your view but a cat isn't a person and can't agree they are even close to equivalent. Not suggesting what he did was okay, or should be forgotten, it was a disgrace. But Antonio summed it up well, is it worse than racism? Convicted racists playing in the Premier League. Players that beat up a boy went on to play many more games. Wife beaters are playing. A man who killed a child is playing. Yes suspension, education, fining, but if all of those can play, is stripping someone of his livelihood for this incident appropriate?
Oh and I too am a Director and I hire ex criminals no issue with it. People need a second chance.

The mob will move on as they always do. As SDL states players have done a lot worse and continued to have a career. He's done massively wrong we all know that, he knows that. I agree with SDL that people should get a second chance.

Those sponsors are hypocrites anyway kissime or whatever its called has links to sea world and adidas who sponsors zouma have produced goods in sweat shops using child labour in the past and I'm sure continue to produce goods in places under dubious conditions.

What he did was wrong but to say his career is basically over is very harsh whoever can say they haven't been stupid and made very wrong decisions I applaud you but come on finish his career no convicts who rape women and children get less than 3 years in jail and 5 years for manslaughter sometimes serving 18 months sorry for the judicial rundown but perspective he's been dealt with if he then stepped out of line then that's it sack him chef Evans is playing again
