If we have to get a CB reinforcement do you think they will look at Tarkowski again?

Out of contract at Burnley in June and reported Burnley have reduced the asking price. At 28 years old I guess he has s few years on him still but we still have 4 central defenders if you include Baptiste. In an emergency Rice could fill in as well - not that I'm suggesting that bit I don't think Oggys injury is an absolute disaster

I think Moyse will go with Dawson. Diop and Baptiste will be on the bench for PL games.

It seems Moyse still has doubts about Diop’s consistency and how he reads the game. If we do go for another CB in Jan, then Diop should be sold on.

Baptiste should play in the next two Euro games to increase his experience. He is a seriously good prospect.

I think Zpuma and Dawson will be first choice central defenders

I have the same doubts re: Diop. When we were conceding goals he was often in the wrong spot and not picking up his player. Think he is getting better as the European performances show but was at fault for the Genk goal in the last game.

Tarkowski would be a quality signing. English lots of prem experience he would slot straight In and even at 28 he's a lot younger than Dawson and Ogbonna.

Add in lingard and hlozek I think we could continue to fight on all fronts not sure if we could manage it with FFP. Only players I think are dispensable would be Yarmo and to a lesser extend lanzini.

If we could get Tarkowski for £20m or maybe less and the talk is Lingard can go for £10m, I think that would be good business.
