it doea look like they are hanging on (a prayer) for lingard. If there is anything left from what appears to be a zero war chest perhaps a loan or free could be arranged for the needed
Defender (s) striker (s) . De Jong Braithwate Hause and so on down. ON reflection Cahill would have been a good short term signing.

Lingard done brillantly for use but not sure i want him back now
I see him stopping benni getting in the team like last season
So why buy players that will stop other progressing
Give benni a chance i reakon he'll be better than lingard.

Predicting the future form of a player MO is almost impossible, so many unforeseen’s could happen, but I see your point👍I like you and many others possibly was a bit p——d off that Lingard showed no signs of wanting to return to us after being so successful with his loan when he was cast to one side at ManU, but then there may have been valid reasons for them discarding him that we know nothing of?
At the moment I see none of our attacking players that Lingard could or should replace, Antonio, Bowen, Benni, Fornals, would like to see Fornals start to score goals though, but it’s about rotation and covering for injuries as well? ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

Yes, I’m less concerned about another AM, after all we still have Lanzini and Yarmo on the books as cover and to rotate.

We have Ogbonna, Diop and Dawson available and with Baptiste coming through as a contender for a CB spot, the major issue for me is cover/ competition for Antonio. We know his hammies won’t stand up to a whole season without time off.

We’ve been “linked” with bucketloads of strikers this window, many of whom were just rumours touted by the media, but I have confidence that Moyse will pick up a decent one before the window closes.

We desperately need to now Marko even more so that Antonio has been accepted to play for Jamaica, both he and WH will have even more problems with cover for him! âš’âš’âš’âš’âš’.
