Did anyone see the drivel england played lastnight
That game was calling out for lingard
I never had any concerns about southgate before but after last night that's has changed.

I had plenty concerns he has no real credentials as a manager. Took a decent boro side to relegation candidates for a couple seasons before ultimately getting them relegated.

He looks to have stifled Rice he does not sit 5 yards infornt of the CBs for west ham. He continues to play sterling who has had an awful season and done nothing other than score against Croatia.

That was an awful performance last night from the whole team , Pickford accepted, every time the fullbacks went over the halfway line they turned round and went backwards, Rice and Philips were doing a Noble in moving it sideways and the front 3 were continually behind the game. Even Freakish did nothing when he came on. The Czechs will run rampant over this lot it will be interesting to watch the Battle of Rice and Souzec.

We were bloody rubbish and will be mostly under Southgate, he doesn’t want to win, he just wants to try not to lose, which against the likes of the big boys will be unlikely!

His statement said it all about the way he intends to play, he said “If you can’t win, you have to make sure you don’t lose”. So when does he know he’s not going to win a game, first minute, half time, 89 minutes? Bloody boring rubbish, sideways, backwards, back to keeper, roll out, back to keeper!

Attacking defenders frightened to pass forward, front men frightened to attack, Southgate plays like his personality, not very exciting!

New Manager needed long ago, ASAP please after the Euros if we want any respect in International Football! âš’âš’âš’.

I like Southgate. I thought the full backs were the problem, both were obviously told not to attack. I felt we should’ve changed to 352 pretty quickly.
I agree regarding Sterling, he was, and has been poor. Kane had no chance, he was marked by 3 men with no one helping him. At Spurs he goes deep and has 2 runners, but England only have one in Rashford. This is another reason why Lingard could’ve been a worthwhile addition.

If we sign Tarkowski I think he’d be a great signing.
