Are we allowed to start negotiating with Man Utd for Lingard or have we got to wait until end of season, at this rate Utd will want to wait if he keeps banging the goals in his price will rocket, if they want £40m then pay it, the boy is on fire.

{Ed077's Note - Lingard has only 1 year left on his deal though.

I know he’s only got a year left on his contract but if we um and Ah for too long someone else might nip in for him, but having said that I think he wants to come to West Ham as it’s working out perfectly for him, he could go somewhere else and not turn out so good, if we don’t sign him I think there’ll be an uproar amongst the fans.
