Hi guys. Just wondered what people think Moyes will do if Antonio is out for a while. Do you think he will just try putting Yarmolenko in the Antonio role. Or do you think he might try and change the formation and either play 2 upfront or go the other way with no recognised striker.
Surely he won't stick with Haller as he was about as visible as Lord Lucan yesterday.
He may have real ability but if he doesn't try to show it, what's the point!

Whenever I think of the 4-4-2 system I always think of big man little man, like the Quin and Phillips at Sunderland ( if any of you are old enough to remember them), Haller certainly fits that bill and you could put Benrahma With him, you could still put Fornels left mid and Bowen right mid as they have both got good engines on them to get up and down, or you could put Bowen with Haller and Benrahma wide or Fornels up there with him, there’s a few systems he could choose, but Haller has got to do more if he’s up there on his own, he has to hold it up and wait for support, Fulham game will be interesting, I feel we have to win that.

Sorry all but how can you keep talking about Haller playing for our club. He is a cheat and total waste of time. He does not want to be at the club, if last night did not show that to you all then what’s the point. Who says we need a big man, play the ball on the floor with our skill full attacking players we have at our disposal. Brian Clough had a saying the game is played on grass not in the sky. Watch the big 6 foot plus opposing defenders scratching there heads when everything gets fizzed-in hard and low. Sorry Haller has had his chance and blew it every time.

Stevie, I know the big man small man up you’re referring to, but please don’t mention about giving that Haller yet another chance in any position🤣😂Up front it’s as long as whoever puts a shift in and at least let’s defenders Know we have front men that are willing to challenge! Haller goes down at to many man to man tackles like he wants to get away from the play! As suggested by Hammer- Dave try Yarmelenko up front with a choice between Bowen/ Fornals/ Benrahma when fit if Ant still not back! We m need somebody that can rough the opposition up not fall over!
Thought the penalty was a disgrace, that f——— Salah was like Tom Daley off the springboard! Unfortunately Arthur have him the opportunity to dive which he never misses when he has the ball in the area! Grahame Souness has slated him for diving, that’s an ex Scouser great talking who was as hard as nails! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

I was just merely suggesting a position Haller could play if we absolutely had nothing else, because as soon as Antonio is back then I don’t think there is even room on the bench for Haller!

Hammer Man, I agree with all you say 100%👍You will not find one post of mine where I have ever had any time for Haller, I think he is £ for £ the worst player we have bought with Wilshere in 2nd place, who has gone with a nice few £million for doing f—- all👎
I have been very wary of continually posting rubbish comments about both players especially when others have continually commented how good they both were, saying we need to adapt to Hallers strengths, no he needs to adapt to our strengths but He has no strengths for the Premiership! âš’âš’âš’âš’.

Yeah I totally agree that the next few games are important. We have been really unlucky not to get another 2 points at least from the Liverpool and Arsenal games. But these next few games could give us an idea if we have turned a corner with our consistency. I am hopeful we have 🤞.

So its clear that haller has had it so who do we look at fir our striker role cause Antonio is injury prone. Marega, mitrovic, Chris Wood What do we think?

Benrahma up top. The midfield has a nice balance and the reason we’re doing well. Haller’s days must now be numbered, if not over.

I'd like benrahama to start our next game. I really think he will do well.

I am going to be alone on this but I think if there is an issue that Haller doesn’t want to give his all then it should be solved if possible. Man management is one of the most important yet toughest parts of the job. Getting the best out of players is what the manager is there for. Haller has ability and they need to solve the problem not give up and lose 20-30 million on selling him.

Agree with ya buddy but he genuinely looks disinterested. He can only be managed so far and part of the contribution must come from him.

Sdl, man management imo is selecting those that give their all in a game and want to show they want to play for the club not selecting players because they have been expensive purchases! If he has to have a cuddle and ask if he feels all right, he should be playing Table Tennis not PL Football!
He clearly has some type of attitude towards the move to WH, he possibly regrets the move and was only concerned about the rich rewards of a 5 year contract and having no knowledge or experience of the PL!
He should be told shape up mate, or put in a transfer request, if not at least you won’t have to worry about paying your bills! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

But Chelmsford that is all just guesses, many things could be wrong and we don’t know what they are. I have a lot of people work for me and if someone isn’t performing I try to understand them and find out what motivates them, whether there is something bothering them, something has changed, or possibly it is a issue that is psychological like depression. I would hope that the club would do a bit more than just say he doesn’t want to be here as they can’t guess at these things. If he doesn’t all well and good but I didn’t hear him saying he wanted out and he had the chance.

Sdl, Almost every post on here must be guess work surely, unless it’s what we see happen on the pitch? None of us see what goes on in training or the attitudes of players!
What would be stopping him from approaching DM or other staff member if he had problems that was bothering him?
The difference as I would guess Sdl with your company is, you wouldn’t have been paying an employee a signing on fee plus a contact for a set number of years regardless of how they perform at work? I suspect they would all start on a probationary period? Sorry to continually bang on about Haller as I know a few rate him, but many more don’t seem to, not that it makes either of us right, it’s just about opinions? ⚒⚒⚒.

I agree that football and life is all about the individuals opinion. I respect the opinion of others totally. However to have an opinion you must look at the evidence of that subject to form that opinion. In the case of Haller I have formed my opinion on what I have seen on the football pitch. He is lazy, has no worthwhile ball control and gives the impression he is totally disinterested. He I am afraid has not done anything that I have seen to give him the right to wear a claret and blue shirt or wear the badge. He should be nowhere ne’er the squad let alone the team.
