It’ll be interesting to see the bench today (as I expect the starting line up to be the same. )

If Moyse’s recent comments on Benrahma mean he’s not even in the match day squad for this one - that would be madness.

Let’s hope for a good performance today. City’s injury list should give us our best shot at improving our dreadful home record against them.

Don’t be too harsh on Moyes leaving Benrahma out, he introduced Bowen into the team slowly and look how that’s turned out, we’ve got a fully fit squad so who do we leave out, you can’t drop Lanzini after that thunderbolt of a goal, Yarmolenko’s hold up play and all round game is great and Snodgrass’s work rate is fantastic he doesn’t stop working, and we need Haller as an alternative striker, so if Benrahma isn’t up to premier league speed yet then I think it’s probably the right call, it won’t be long before we do see Benrahma play we’ve just got to be patient, but someone will eventually have to make way for him but not until Moyes is happy that he is 100% ready.

I will have a bet with anybody that wherever HALLER goes if he does then when FIT he will score goals the guys played a few games against BAYERN MUNICH and caused them problems and scored in most games against them if bringing him on the 85th minute and expecting him to explode in 5 or so minutes then people who slag him off are braindead and I think he probably earned us a point with a defensive header late in the game give him a run of 6 or 7 starts and then pass judgement. Whorya, we all have different opinions about players, but I don’t consider myself “brain dead” when it comes to judging what you see when you evaluate a players performance! DM clearly doesn’t rate him but is lumbered with him, how much time should Haller be given? He was jogging around from player to player yesterday against City, not even trying to tackle any of them, he looked like a schoolboy playing against men, bloody useless for the Premiership! He clearly doesn’t want to play for us but wants to pick up his massive wages, lazy ——-
Think we would have been wiser to give Hugill more of a chance than Haller! âš’âš’âš’âš’.
