Ozil in January? When I read he was left out of Arsenals squad I thought he still has something to offer, now I see Carlton Cole is suggesting also he could be worth a go.

Too flighty for me and he would smash our wage structure. It’s been reported he’s on £350k a week.

Would be a real test of whether he wants to play as he says or wants money if we offer him 100k a week when he plays and 50k when he doesn’t.

{Ed001's Note - it is not that simple for him when over half of his salary is pledged to various charities. Well over half in fact. Even if he took your offer and then gave all the salary to charity, the charities would be left out of pocket.}

I didn’t know that. Respect and kudos, then.

{Ed001's Note - for some reason anything good regarding Ozil tends to get ignored. The media decided he was lazy and so would ignore the fact that he covered the most distance every game while playing for Arsenal, even when Alexis Sanchez was in the team and being praised for his hard work and running. Even when he refused to take the pay deferral like the rest of the Arsenal squad, it was spun as him being greedy, when his only reasoning was that he wanted the money to go to low paid workers at the club. They wouldn't have been able to get rid of the 55 staff they did if it was up to Ozil, as he wanted an agreement that no one would lose their jobs and the pay deferral by the players would pay staff wages so no one had to be furloughed etc.

Yet Aubameyang uncaringly takes a huge pay rise, just after the 55 are booted out the door, and it is all about how great he is and how he deserves it, while Ozil is still being slaughtered in the media for being greedy! Mata gets, rightly, lauded for the Common Goal initiative he helped start up for players to give just 1% of their salary to charity and called heroic and caring etc. Ozil was already giving in excess of 50% away to charity and is apparently greedy, lazy and uncaring. I just don't understand the hate for him and why he is treated so appallingly by the media.}

That is interesting and kudos too him. I saw the story about the mascot wages and that was great but didn’t realise he gave so much. I think it is criminal that a player of his ability is playing u23s, would be a great pick up but those wages would be too much for West Ham I fear.

I'd rather sign the mascot he offered to pay his wages as you'd get more effort and the charity he should be paying is AFC as I say he owes them quite a bit and people would take OZIL but slag off HALLER righty o . COYI.

{Ed001's Note - you clearly never watched him play. He covered more distance than any other Arsenal player and holds the record in the Premier League for creating the most chances per minute. Whereas Haller has done nothing.}

Hey do me a favour the guys a sicknote if he's that good why ain't ARTETA put him in his squad of premier league players and if he covered more ground than any other player than that's why they have won nothing every arsenal fan I know couldn't wait to get shot of him and your wrong on the assists as RYAN GIGGS holds the most and FABREGAS holds the most assists per mins so do your research properly ED the anti hammer.
