Thought Masuaku had a good game, Haller didn't look that happy when he scored and at the end?

No he didn’t, it was a “ it was I don’t want to be here” look to me. Yes Masu had an excellent game, as did all of them! I have always thought he was decent, he is Definitely an attacking wing back, not a defender, very good crosser of the ball👍 The system and the team worked really hard and well last night, Rice also was excellent as was Bowen, Soucek, Ogbonna, Ant worked tirelessly but seems unfair to name names after such a great team effort
Hope we can reproduce that against the Foxes next week, would like to see Yarmelenko given time next week. COYI âš’âš’âš’âš’âš’.

Masuaku was better because he could venture forward as Cresswell was covering at left of central defence. Between them they played Traore out of the game.
Masuaku has always been ok going forward, it’s his defensive capabilities that have always worried me.

Haller's face after the goal was - I've scored 4 goals in 2 games in the cup. I've been on the pitch for 2 minutes and i've scored.

Play me. Either start me or bring me on for at 25-30 minutes.

I agree that Antonio is on fire at the moment and rightly keeping Haller out of the starting line up, but he needs to definitely be given more than 2 minutes per game.

Masuaku has always looked good going forward in the wing back position. As a full back he is a disaster. Still can’t understand why the manager ever plays him at full back. The only way he should ever start is where he played last night. Having said that I would love to see what he could do as a centre forward. With his ball control and pace he would scare many defenders. Just to probe a debate.

TK, I agree with the Haller comment and I have b been very critical of him on here! Work rate is not so good but if he’s scoring goals it’s unfair not to give him decent a time on the pitch! Hammer Man interesting comment on Masu, maybe worth a try if the situation created it? Think Haller, Anderson, Yarmelenko will be given a start on Wednesday in the Everton Carabao game, with those players to bring in as. apart a second string line up, we could progress in that competition! ⚒⚒⚒.

It’s more about how we can help him sometimes it’s getting a good early cross not dithering allowing them to get back into formation.
