Rice is pushing for a move and we want £80m. Chelsea supposedly want rid of Alonso, Rudiger, Barkley, Abraham's, Loftus Cheek. Why don't we take 3 of the 5? Which ever 3 we get would improve our team. Rudiger would be the obvious choice with 2 of the others.
Chelsea may go for the deal.

Rudiger, Abraham’s and Barkley, would prefer Rudiger and a couple of full backs though.?

Well if it’s true then let him go, he’s done nowt so far since we started, fans will be very disappointed. But Rudiger, no no no no no, he is one of the worst defenders I've watched, to me he’s not even a footballer, he is poor, very poor. It’s a no from me on home like. I’d love rice to stay but if it’s true and he’s pushing then left rid don’t let it drag out.

I heard that they want to sell Rudiger to partly finance the Rice deal. I wouldn’t want Rudiger at all. He’s mentally not cut out to be a defender. If you recall, when we played them and yarmalenko scored, it was Rudiger who let him get onto his ONLY shooting foot (his left foot) and score. Fundamental mistakes like that are the reasons Chelsea want rid.
I questioned Rudigers football intelligence as soon as it happened. And I’m not a professional footballer.
Sorry lads, out of all the players you mentioned from Chelsea I would only consider Abraham’s at a push.
Let Chelsea stump up the cash like they did for the other players they have just spent a fortune on. If they can’t, let them go sniffing around elsewhere.
We could do a lot better with £80m in cash than taking their outcasts. £80m is a good centre half and a right back and a left back.

Whitby. COMPLETELY agree. He’s a donkey and not a footballer. He will be a liability.
Where by the way is Winston Reid?

I can see him joining them will be a big miss, but honestly we are never going to get no more than one player from them as a swap + cash,
Could you imagine the wages they would want if we took a few,

Only player I would take would be Abraham, but in my opinion it’s not what we need, Good player though.

No chelsea swaps - as COYI64 said, let them stump up the cash. Mr Abramovich isn't short of money, so let him dig deep into his pockets. Cash is King.

I'd absolutely hate to see Rice leave and would prefer to hold onto him, but £80m in cash would essentially allow Moyes to land every single one of his top transfer targets.

The £80m valuation is pie in the sky. Rice is a very talented footballer with plenty of great years ahead, but in the present economic climate and with Chelsea already having forked our bucketloads, I can’t see them paying that.

If he has decided he wants to leave, I’m surprised none of the European giants has expressed an interest.

I do rate both Abraham and L-C, though.

Markro. I understand that your saying about £80m being pie in the sky. However considering what they paid for the other players they bought And then, already knowIng that there is a PREMIUM associated with buying British players. The fact that I think they desperately need a quality DM, I would say that £80m isn’t such a pie in the sky number. Think what Chelsea paid for that numpty goalkeeper of theirs who makes one mistake after another.
Rice is a regular England International now who performs consistently. Would you say he’s worth less than Harry McGuire? I wouldn’t.
For once we should stick to our guns and play hardball on price.
