Let’s be optimistic here, teams have gone to city and got a bigger pasting than us tonight, I personally wrote this game and Monday off, at least the team showed a bit of fight tonight so we are on the right track.
I’d still use haller and Bowen up front, playing Antonio on his own is a waste as he has no chance and could be used better in midfield.
Noble has to drop out for me, too slow and is getting to be a liability.

We need Noble, he’s a leader. We played Man City, a world class team. We rode our luck, but maybe luck is changing. The team looked like they were giving 100%, we can all see that. I accept 2-0. If we play like that against teams we should beat, starting with Southampton, then we’ll be alright.
