At last he's gone🤞👏Frankly we are probably looking at someone that is readily available and that doesn't want to jump into a Lions Den if they are not in one already! So what are the choices of who will want the job? Chris Hughton, David Moyes, won't be a popular choice, but for me was harshly treated when he did the job that was asked of him! I want a tough no nonsense British manager, Dyche for me but there will be compensation involved and will he he walk away anyway mid season? ⚒⚒⚒.

It just makes you wonder if Moyes is the one they want why didn’t they give him a contact before, would they still want Moyes if he was already employed somewhere else, I don’t think so, I think they are going to take the cheap option and not necessarily the right option, but he will get my full support if he is put in charge.

Have to remember we weren’t exactly overjoyed with Gollum when he was here before and I don’t think he was that much of a revelation. The other issue with him was that we struggled to attract the type of players we needed to take the team to the next level - can’t see that changing this time and we may end up losing the cream of the squad because they didn’t sign up to play under him. I know you’ll say they play for the jersey etc, but we all know they’re pro’s not fans and the easiest way for them to get a move is to get us relegated. There don’t seem to be many decent names on offer out there, but at least Glen Roeder (took us a long time to recover from him) and Avram aren’t being linked!
Pie in the sky - get Wenger to parachute in for 6 mths and mentor keen to keep us up then see who’s available at end of season.

{Ed002's Note - Wenger is not available - he has a job.}

Chelmsford obviously a slip of the keyboard but the "Lions Den" - surely we never want to be known as that :)
