so our shocking form continues and at Turf Moor i hope that was rock bottom i know the keeper did himself no favours but his back 4 or 5 whatever you want to call them (coz they aren't a defence at present) didn't help him, what ever Ogbonna did is a mystery and i read we are now giving MP more time which can mean one of a few things, we can't afford his payoff, no suitable candidate, a feint hope he will change his tactics, dare i say it if there were more honour among the industry should he perhaps resign ah but i forgot his massive pay off he would get - at least we have a break this week! however, more bad news i heard a whisper Fabianski is out until Easter - won't that be a joy

Hiya WHUWALES there is no excuse for ROBERTO for punching the ball into his own net that wasn't anything to do with the defense and yes the defence ain't great but you are all missing the trick it's the MIDFIELD who are leaving the defence exposed and it's then a knock on effect NOBLE isn't at premier league levels especially fitness wise he's too slow in pressing and cannot get back when forward SNODGRASS ain't IMO a premier league player he's a decent championship player and the difference is massive and the team needs a complete new midfield as defence wise only RICE is up to the job ANDERSON ain't a winger more a no10 for me, when on the wing he 80% cuts inside rather going down the wing not what a winger is meant to do anyway it needs tactics and a a few youngsters i.e HOLLAND SCULLY. COYI.

Im with Whorya, midfield needs attention fast. I don't think our defence is as bad as some make out, just gets exposed too easily by a slow midfield that has relied on Declan too much to cover them on his own. And Dec's only weakness is . . PACE
Against Burnley, Roberto had no excuse for punching into his own net, he has no excuse for punching before the corner that got Burnley their first, and he has no excuse to throw the ball to Balbuena when he was not at all in a position to receive the ball (Balbuena for the record could have done better also, but even he was SHOCKED that the ball was being thrown to him)
