IF West Ham do get rid of the manager what's the betting they do it at the same time Arsenal get rid of Emery, therefore the managers that are available or the managers that will be spoken about (i e Howe) will want to speak to Arsenal instead of West Ham, I don't like to see managers lose their jobs but this is all down to Pellegrini with some bad selections and tactics so maybe a change will be best?

Tough times for MP at the moment, but I still think it is too early to make a change now. Hindsight may prove me wrong in 3 to 9 months time, but that is irrelevant as we do not have it NOW. The last 5 games have highlighted there is a consistent issue, and as a club the owners need to highlight the issue, say it needs to be fixed, and allow the manager time to fix it.
MP does not have the players to play his style, and we have a clear weakness that other teams are exposing. This has been made worse by our backup keeper making THREE unforgivable errors on the weekend.
We all love MP's attacking ethos, but its useless if it leaves us totally exposed all the time. MP needs to adapt his tactics slightly using the players he has available in order to give us a balance. I hate to say it but a Noble injury may be the catalyst that forces his hand to change the makeup of our midfield.

The thing that worries me most NLCKINHO is he hasn't got a plan b, sticking with what he knows which ain't working and just hoping to get a result and not changing personnel unless injured that's why IMO he needs replacing our under 23s are top of the league and 2 players in the top three goalscorers in the league in SCULLY and HOLLAND both midfielders although SCULLY has moved further forward so at least put them in the matchday squad. COYI.

A lack of a plan B is worrying indeed. I understand the need to keep trying to perfect his Plan A (albeit to the frustration of fans when we have hindsight after games), but there comes a time when MP should realise that he has not got (or is not playing) the right players that will balance his tactics effectively. For me, that was after the Everton game, and against Newcastle and Burnley we should have made alterations to cover weaknesses.
He needs to realise he cannot yet play his "pure" football, and until he can he must balance our CM so that it can protect our defence effectively. The knock-on effect could be that our creative players have more confidence to get up and support Haller, killing two birds with one stone effectively.
