Decent win against a banana skin of a side. Bad news about Antonio, who will miss the Norwich game, but at least the international break is near.
I thought Anderson played well when he had to come on unexpectedly, but, over all there were too many mistakes and poor passes. We’ll need to tighten up against the canaries.

Passing in midfield was terrible, Wiltshire, Fornals and Snodgrass were really bad. Funny enough I thought Sanchez played well. He was always there to be passed to and kept play moving, he doesn't have Noble ability for longer passes that can open up defence though.

I was a little disappointed with the new striker Ajeti, I was hoping for more pace and class.

I also think Sanchez had a good game yesterday. Re-assured me somewhat, as i worried he would not be good enough backup for Rice this season. He has impressed me since coming back from injury though, and he will do this season. He is backup after all, so we cannot expect another Rice to play no.2
Rice's partner in CM is my biggest concern. Nobes is the only NATURAL player there, and he has his weaknesses. All our other options are AM's who are playing out of position there, and lack the natural mentality to play in a 2 man CM. JW even said last night that he wants to get forward more and score goals, not what the role next to Rice requires at all. MP must see this.
We won't play ANY premier league teams this season where we have 73% possession and attempt 667 passes, so we were bound to see a few misplaced passes as we try to break down a team who set out to just defend and win set-pieces. Bit concerned that Diop and Balbuena were given the runaround by a league 2 striker though.

I would have thought beckham Scholes and Co would have been interested in buying a club from that part of the country as he and Victoria are worth close too £900 mill mind you I think beckham has already invested into a club what are the rule's on ownership of clubs surely there is a limit on how many clubs you can have a stake in. COYI.
