I wasn't at the Amex today but watched the whole game which was very disappointing of course.

Now I'm a great fan of Fabianski who I think is a great keeper but I have to say I'm beginning to doubt his distribution. It always seems to be laboured and takes a long time, the ref today talked to him about time wasting, I really think it's indecision or is it the players are not making themselbes available

The longball which was prevelant today was a waste of time when your target men are all small even when Anthonio came on Brighton were still winning every long ball and back it came then we were playing Heading ping pong till we lost the ball again

Proof again today that Mauaka can't defend time to start with Johmson.

Last season we were garbage with Wilshire in the team and huge improvement when he didn't play. Full backs struggle especially on our left and diop looks a shadow of the player last season. Build up dreadfully slow. going to be hard season where we will have to scrap for every point.

Posts like these drive me mad. The ball is played long normally through a lack of options being offered to the goalkeeper. It's rarely the goalkeepers fault. He makes enough saves, top saves at that, for me to forgive any short comings in his ability to pick a pass. He isn't first choice because of his ability to pick Lanzini out with a 50 yard peach.

Fabianski, in my view, would walk into almost any football team in the world. We are very fortunate to have him.

Spot on Mike because PEP insists on his keepers distribution must be like a Brazilian maestro's ability everyone jumps on it try and go get a keeper for €7.5 mill of FABIANSKIS class did people see ADRIAN'S clanger today I felt for him but he's got that in his locker keep up the good work LUCAS.

Mac3, agree entirely mate on JW, well documented on this site by me ever since I knew we were thinking of recruiting him! Taking into consideration we have spent £150m since MP took over, we look a shadow of what we should be looking at. Brighton paid £15m for Trossard, Teemo Pukki On a free from Brondby for Norwich, what a couple of signings they could turn out to be, how come we can’t find these signings? Also criticism of Fab imo completely unjustified although we are all entitled to our opinion, But as MikesIron says, he could get into almost any team as first choice👍👍⚒⚒.
