Agree, Perez is not the kind of player we need. I believe MP likes a striker who can be physical up top, much like he did with Dzeko at City, Benzema at Madrid and Rondon at Malaga and probs what he liked in Arnie, and why he sanctioned the move for Chica (although that is up in the air now given what Arnie has just done) .
Unless we have a bigger budget than reported, I see us buying:
Fornals - £27m
DM - £13m
ST - £30m
ST - £16m
And we could sell up to £52m worth of players, made up mostly of Arnie, Obiang and Chica which should raise MIN £40m alone. The key thing is, WE NEED TO SELL before getting any of these players in. More importantly we need Arnie (25m), Obiang (10m) and Chica (10m) to go for the right price or we are stumped.
We need to think about home grown players as well, unless we sell Sanchez, which is why I see us getting Hayden or sticking with Cullen. If not, we could see a surprise departure somewhere in the mix. Personally, i'd move Sanchez on and get a new DM as well as Cullen.
