The Brighton and Watford results show that if you put the effort in you get results.

Stevie, totally agree, saw both game highlights and same opinion as you, also Wolves at Leicester were terrific, very unlucky to lose, on our form at the moment all 3 of those teams will wallop us! I still can’t believe MP isn’t going to get this right with his background, but I also think has he still got the incentive for all the aggro that goes with a Premiership managers job now, especially with £millions bulging from his wallet like everybody associated at top levels, with all the hangers on around him, that are supposed to be experts in all they do, we haven’t even seen a performance with any effort, with the odd exception!
As Mike said, David Moyes will be laughing his b———s off and so would I be!

You don't become a great coach with no defending.

Huya irontodd was he a great manager or were MAN CITY just far superior than other teams when he was in charge because 1 thing really bothers me the world and his wife knows that MASUAKU isn't a left back and was playing as a basic winger or left mid when he joined the club I said to convert him to left mid as he can't defend for tofree when I saw him play half a dozen times so why can't MP if he's done his homework and surely the players wold say something I know you can't overuLe the manager but come on common sense I know some footballers sense is in their pants and wallets but please. COYI.

In China he spent a lot of money on players that were not worth the money, even breaking the Chinese record and paying euro 20m for a player - it didn’t end well. I hope that was an exception.

{Ed0333's Note - Blame your owners mate they kept throwing money at him and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. You should have gone a different route, a younger and forward thinking manager. This will all end in tears.

Time to retain some perspective I think.

- Wilshere is a known quantity with only his injury recird the overriding concern. So far has two 90 mins under his belt.

- Anderson was expensive by our own standards, but by market standards was just about above average. Lazio fans were sad to see him leave. 2 games is far too early to judge. look what happened to Arnie last year!

- Yarmalenko has barely played yet but looks promising when he has.

- Fabianski looks an excellent acquisition.

- Sanchez, Perez, Diop. no evidence to judge them on yet, and it would be too early anyway.

- Fredericks > Byram so an upgrade whether he plays or not

As for Pellegrini he needs to be given a bit of time (and lucky for him we have owners who, for whatever reason, will do that) . Is he a better manager than Bilic, Moyes, Grant, Zola, Redknapp, Roeder, Curbishley, Macari? His record certainly suggests so!

So no matter how you look at it we have the tools in place to be better than recent seasons but need to give some time.

Let's not judge too early on. As was seen last year, Everton, Palace and us all had dire starts but then got going and all finished comfortably mid table, so there is no need to panic after two games.

This season is about changing the club's culture and way of playing, and we all need to stick with that programme and show a bit of moxie!

Two games in is the time to keep the faith, not start crying to Mummy that the new shiny thing doesn't work properly out the box without needing some assembly first!
