Just watched the highlights of the two champions league semi finals. Whilst watching I noticed a lot of the players names were familiar and some from some time back.
I checked the average age of the inter squad and it is just under 30.
I'm not advocating keeping our dads army and we do need younger fitter players but it just shows with the right team spirit and manager you can still get success with a number of oldies

I watched both games this week. Very entertaining, attacking football, especially the Barca/Inter match. It’s what the sport is all about. End to end stuff and none of this continuous side and back passing which is prevalent in possession based football. Excellent adverts for the game.

Is it a coincidence or the last 3 managers the POISON DWARF has employed are very defense minded the man has zero ambition it's all about survival then survival and if that doesn't work then survival and until the club is sold to an owner/owners with ambition we will all still be moaning till we are blue in the face about the DWARF and his cronie LADY PENOLOPE needing to go as far away as possible from WHUFC.COYI

While I dislike the board as much as the next man, Sully not wanting us to do well I think is incorrect. He does want us to do well for pure financial means, we are worth untold millions more if we are competing at the top end of the table opposed to just surviving. The answer is he hasn't a clue, he is not a football person and never will be, unfortunately things conspire to make him believe he is the oracle, like him only wanting Potter to be given 6 months and him being proved correct.
