Time for the WH ITKs to get realistic, and stop telling stories to our loyal supporters, WH are now unfortunately, a basement destination, NO players on top of their game, playing in, or seeking Euro football, or very big wages, are coming to. WH, yes we might pick up a player, ( like Kudus ) Who might see WH as a stepping stone, todays example Is Guessand, of Nice, ( who is old news ) 'WH are battling Arsenal, Villa Bologna etc " nonsense, he would only come to WH BY DEFAULT, If Arsenal or Villa want him, that's where he will go, WH can pay-him 5 x the salary he's now getting, that's true, Arsenal and Villa can pay, 10x what's he's now getting, what on earth would attract him to WH? Like Angel Gomez, Jonathan David, and others, ONLY if other teams fall away will they come to WH, time to get real! WH only have a London address, and first team football to offer that's it! That's the reason, WH are searching all over, the minor leagues everywhere, trying to get players in, without the competition from the present time , big clubs,

I agree with what you are saying to a certain extent, but some players would rather come to us than sit on the bench at the Arse or Villa etc. It is up to who ever the manager is to sell the rebuild project to players.

Decent point, Gerry, However would you let let Potter sell the club?

! Players agents are 99% focused on money, hence their cut of fees, WH cannot compete on top clubs wages, nor euros, etc etc, but yes there will be those, that want to play, rather than bench warm, that’s why WH are scouring, Europe looking for exactly that,

Maybe then it's time to look elsewhere for players. Some very decent players in Scandinavia but we are always too slow.

Every window West Ham are interested in, mulling over, considering etc etc. There is far too much mulling pondering considering at this club.

And then of course there is the pathetic low bids we are renowned for so what chance of decent players the way we conduct ourselves, never mind whether or not the player wants to join us.

Joyfull, I wouldn't trust Potter to sell programmes at the club, I would have done but no longer. As Sully seems to be sticking with him I sincerely hope that I am wrong but I don't think I will. Only 170 goals scored in his 156 games in charge of Brighton and Chelsea speak volumes, he is risk averse and that is an understatement. I don't mind watching possession based football but not the sideways and backwards style under Potter. I luckily sold my season ticket for the spuds game and hopefully will for the Forest game, I cannot justify wasting 7 hours of my life (travelling and game) at my age to watch this utter dross. Clear the manager out and let's start again in my opinion, who with I have no idea but welcome the thoughts of others.

Mac3, I have no doubt we put in stupid low ball offers but so do the other teams, who would pay full price for something without trying to get it cheaper? And its not for a couple of quid it is millions of pounds, the other thing is all the waffle spouted by the ITK people and journos, they have to print something and anything is better than nothing. If you go on say news now for another club it is full of teams wanting 50m for players and they offered 25m.
