We where better by far in first half, we started second half too slowly, and lost the initiative straightaway, but a point there is good, we are still focusing on a hold up man up front, but Bowen, for all his virtues cannot play that role, three players brought in January , Delap up front, purchase, Carney loan with option atm, Disasi purchase Cb, could better us by far, very unlikely though we can do this, we have very obvious changes we.need to make, let's go Tim

Can't see Ipswich being remotely interested in selling Delap in January, besides they'd whack a huge price on him since there's a 20% sell on fee stipulated in his contract, we'd never be able to afford him.

Disasi's a possibility but again Chelsea never sell their players on the cheap.

As for Carney, are you talking about Carney Chukwuemeka? Don't think he brings anything to our side tbh, Offloaded by Villa and now Chelsea are looking to get rid - Speaks volumes that.

Sorry Billy, May speak volumes for you, but not for me, Chelsea have ridiculous amount of talent at their disposal, not that I am suggesting , Carney is some super player, but I have seen him play several times, and you may remember a flash of his talent scoring against us, fortunately (for us) he was injured just afterwards, as he was turning that game around, on his own, please remember, some of the names Chelsea let go, as not being good enough in the past ……. Salah, De Bruyne Rice, are just three of very many, probably all of their bomb squad, would make our own squad, so we differ on that player, ……In my own mind Carney Disasi, and Dewsbury Hall, would be on my list , for purchase, loans with option. Whatever we can manage We need younger players, nothing wrong with Lindelof for example but he’s already 30, we must STOP buying older players

I probably misspoke a bit about Carney, undoubtedly he has talent but the reason for Chelsea wanting him gone is nothing to do with his ability rather the fact he's been injured for 241 days over the past 2 years, and not with like just one long term injury but a myriad of different ones.

That really is a red flag for a player who's only 21 years of age imo. Saying that though, injury history seems to be the least important thing when it comes to us signing players, so anything's possible I guess.

Totally agree on Chukwuemeka Joyful. It was clear for all those in attendance that day that him going off injured changed the course of the game. I think there’s a player in there, minutes and match fitness unfortunately for him appear to have stalled his obvious talent from developing.

This is going to be a tricky window, manager on thin ice, who at present going to have very little say in proceedings, the positions required are many, pressure is there now on Steidten, by Sullivan, we are looking to secure improvement for little funds, if Kudus stays on, Loans, must have option wether mandatory or not, we must look away from older players, we have too many at present ! But some are departing in summer, now is the time for new blood, the opportunities are there time to be bold
