City on this form would have scored at least 3 at any ground in the country today. We were a bit rabbit in the headlights 1st half but pretty decent in the 2nd. I think once everyone's settled in and the manager has had a chance to instil his philosophy in to the the team, we'll be a pretty good outfit.

It'll take a few games, especially at home since we've been dealt a bit of a stinker in the old fixtures list - Chelsea up next, but on this showing I think we'll have at least a solid if not spectacular season this term.

That said, we really should've gone that tiny bit further this window and got in a pacey, mobile striker. Who knows, January maybe?

ITS the money Billy, he was on 210 k a week at man untd, but he and Depay have no suitors at present because of their demands, few weeks go past no one comes in things can change? However he was never a great trainer at United, and always on the treatment table, depends what happens, but no strikers glaring mistake

Personally, I thought Antonio did ok yesterday, against the best team in the land. He was feeding off scraps, yet did try to push us up when he had the ball. Not one person can fault his endeavour, and he is the best striker we have.
Pacquetta was really poor yesterday. In the big games he goes missing.

Agreed Brooking?I think Ant was OK, at least I knew he was getting involved, as you say we were playing perhaps the best team in the world! Who else could he play instead of Ant, Paqueta is well we’ll overrated for whatever reason, wtf would City want with him, bloody liability!
Fullkkrug was awful last week, don’t take all the “not getting the service “ rubbish, it’s a Team game, bloody get involved, much rather have seen Nketia/Broga/Abraham!

We were playing a fully established team that can probably say it is the best in the world.

We are a revamped team, learning to play together under the different ideas of a new head coach.

Yes, they were obviously and expectedly the better side, but we made chances to score goals.

I am encouraged.

Antonio has been a great servant . The blame is on the club for not replacing him sooner . Always comes to one thing haller apart . Lack of funds from the owners. While DS is in charge nothing changes . But there's good news in that department going forward . Taps nose . ?⚒️⚒️⚒️

Lack of funds a bit unfair, WH spent all available funds in that window, we will need the same and more, the next two three four windows, it’s a massive job, turning an old tired, shell of a team, into a strong 25 player squad, able to compete with top clubs, look at the size of the next job, 5 players end of contracts, plus two strikers required!
