If he is available for a nice cheap price, why not take a punt. We've got worse players already playing for us (Ings for instance) . I do think Newcastle will give us an offer we can't refuse for BOWEN during this window.


What I do find amazing is that considering we only have £100m budget, we are linked with Players like IVAN TONEY. Forget him and just let TS do what he does best, uncover some gems

Hi Daisy, Why not Diaz is lively and quick, Newcastle, are bound down with new regulations, that’s why there looking for free agents like Lloyd Kelly, they are having to get shot of another couple of players, one is likely to be Almiron, to balance their books, So very unlikely they would come up with 100k plus plus for Bowen, lots of clubs being held down with new rules, funnily enough this could work in our favour, with a relatively small budget, which we can spend however without any problems, Villa are now carping, threatening to take the new rules to court, stating it’s anti competitive!

Sorry Hoyful, I may have confused matters. I reckon BBD would definitely be worth a punt even if its only to fill out the squad.

The thing I'd we wouldn't be buying him as a squad player but as our main striker and he is no where near good enough for that, can't see this being a good signing at all or see it happening anyway
