According to c&h Moyes has turned down an option of bidding 25m for Bissouma, instead wants JWP. Can't make it make sense?

I’m sorry but if this true this is a joke, we’ve lost noble and yarmalenko, souchek is up in the air by all accounts, and Moyes wants to bring in another 30+ year old as a replacement, it’s ridiculous on so many levels, don’t get me wrong JWP is a very good player but it’s the age, we are going backwards. I hate every minute of transfer windows with this board and the way they go about business, and Moyes isn’t helping, I mean they are saying his number one target is Lingard…. Why he didn’t want to stay, he wanted to go to Newcastle, again great player but surely the number one target should be a striker for god sake. I’m bamboozled by it all. I personally think the Brighton midfielder would have been a steal at £25m but who knows, clearly not me. Moyes needs to start putting trust in youth, he did it with Rooney at Everton, we’ve got some great young prospects but if I was one of them I think I would be looking at the door aswell.

Jwp is 27 and just signed a long contact really can't see him coming to us anyway, Hassenhutle adamant he's staying.

I can see us wasting time on this as per.

Lingard situation is a strange one he's had one good half a season in what the past what 3-4 years? But we are still looking at him despite the ridiculous wages to replace Benrahma at the same time we don't give Soucek a pay rise someone that grafts and puts his head in where it hurts for the team.

Hopefully this ends Moyes Lingard obsession and we look to younger targets on a modest wage with resale value.

The bloke thinks he's bigger than us apparently it's because we are not ambitious enough bet its more so that we aren't going to pay his silly wage demands. Blessing in disguise.
