Papers saying we are in for Broja. He's a little inconsistent for my liking. Don't know what everyone else thinks.

The price seems crazy sure i seen 50/60m
I quite like the look of him from what i seen but would he get game time the kids needs to be playing not sitting on the bench and i'd say he'll spend most of his time on the bench under moyes

I agree, too much money for Broja being quoted.

£60m cannot be right. what's he done to prove he is worth that amount of money? Haaland is going to Man City for around £65m and he isn't as good as him. Please tell me we are not going to pay that for him?

I'd definitely like us to sign Broja, 40m - 60m is a lot but he has massive potential not many 19-20 year olds can come into the prem and bully defenders with pace and power. His consistency should get better with age and he's quite similar to Michail so would suit our style of play.

All that being said Chelsea might not want to sell.

It’s a case of supply and demand re Borja, which ups all prices in any form of business! I agree with Iron.Al re age and potential!
Not many teams aside of the present top 2 will you mostly see consistency, that’s why they are the top 2.
Yes maybe the fee is quite heavy, £40m is not over the top imo, possibly £60 is heavy, but if that’s the price and won’t budge then we will move on to a Championship hopeful, I see Brereton- Diaz mentioned again? ⚒⚒⚒⚒

I suspect Chelsea have over valued Broja in the hope they can make a decent few quid off of his sale - should the choose to sell him that is. I've said elsewhere that I don't think he's anywhere near a £60M pound striker and 6 goals in 31 PL games kinda backs that up.

I know he's only 20 but it's huge money to be risking on a player that could just as easily be the next Mido rather than Aguero.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea have not placed any value on Broja.}

Billy, whatever price is put on a player any enquiry is not going to start at the asking price, any club will value them way above what they want for him, you can only sell once plus Chelsea are not desperate to offload yet I don’t think?

Like selling a House or Car unless you are desperate if a club gets the asking price on the first offer, then they have undersold on price and can’t sell him again, Broja at 19 could turn out to be another Rice, De Bruyne, Salah, previously Chelsea have old all those players, lesson learned maybe, also they have the gem Gallagher on loan at Chelsea, what price will they ask for him, but my guess is they won’t sell him?

I read now we may go in for Watkins at Villa at £50m, imo
Better than nothing but not at £50m, doesn’t excite me, would prefer a chance on Broja at 19 if there was a choice? But a bit of a chance on the current asking price, but negotiated below the £40m could be good, how many 19year olds have we got up front doing what he has at S’oton? Could argue not many have been given a chance up front, but DM and staff see in Training who’s capable of shaking up Premiership defences?

Do like watkins and from what I've seen he works hard for the team
Didnt villa pay 30m+ for him
