Surely, Moyse must realise 3 things:
1. Antonio needs a partner tonight
2. Soucek not cutting the mustard anymore
3. Stop playing long balls

Now the dust has settled and emotions have run high, we got to admit that we have done well with what we have. let's face it, the squad is full of average players (Rice, Bowen and maybe Zouma aside) that have over achieved this season by working hard. Moyes likes players that work their socks off, not players with that extra quality (Adam Hlozek is a quality player that laf of europe are after but not for moyes) and unfortunately with a squad our size, fatigue was going to set in eventually. As for the actual game, we tried hard, lots of effort but the overall quality just wasn't their. ZOuma caught at the half way line was poor, but Cresswell was terrible and as pointed out, this is the second time where he has gone off for trying to man handle players and at this level you get punished. He should know better and the fact that he doesn't is worrying. For me, our left back position has been a problem area for some time and with every window we never address it.

I can't remember over the 2 legs Antonio having a shot on goal. I know he works hard but he is NOT a striker and he needs to know that if we bring a striker in, then he may well be warming the bench. Belotti, Hlozek etc are not going to warm the bench for antonio. We have a squad full of average players so it needs to be addressed in the summer and we need to offload those not up to the level required. I'm fairly sure that we will conduct our business in the usual way and place stoopid bids in for players and spend all summer bidding and chasing, mulling, pondering etc. Don't expect miracles because oiur management don't work like that. Come the start of the new season I can lay a fair amount of money that we will still be chasing Lingard.AGAIN

Anyway, speaking of ADAM Hlozek it seems that we have the opportunity to obtain his services this summer on loan but Moyes and Newman want to assess other options We could get him on loan and we want to look eleswhere? Its a no brainer!

Bowen told to drop into MF after Cressy incident
Subs should be on bit sooner while we still had outside chance

Im hopeing newman coming in will at last bring some common sense to our stratagy to the transfer windows
No more wasting time on players we have no chance of getting and bring in players that want to play and show there quality for west ham

This window we really can't be ponderous and slow like previous windows we need some what of a small rebuild with Noble, Yarmolenko, Kral, Frederick's all gone at the end of the season. Ogbonna was needing to be replaced and his injury makes the matter more urgent.

We all knew what was needed in the previous window but the board, Newman and Moyes failed to deliver and ultimately our season has suffered because of it. Yes with the squad we have we have done well but for me that underlines how much of an opportunity this season was to do something special.

Hlozek isn't a true striker either, plays a lot of games out on the left and cuts in. Hasn't scored so many recently either when I looked.

It doesn’t have to be a so called “striker” just somebody up front that can cause a lot of problems but also score! I Don’t get involved with quoting rumours usually but read we are “plotting” whatever that means, a move for Broja on loan with S’oton from Chelsea, think that would be a really good move for us, big, strong, Premiership experience, but maybe if so will Chelsea want a bit of Rice involved?

Broja would hardly be the finished article at 20 - so one must then look at, and assess, potential over the long term
