If Lingard really wants to come to West Ham but Man Utd are blocking the move then all I would say to Lingard is hang in there until the summer then we can get you on a free transfer, he’ll still have time to show his qualities again to Southgate and force his way back in the England squad.

yes at near 30 Jesse surely doesn't want to warm the Old Trafford bench. He is in the Fergie time of his career - especialy with his youthful and mobile style of play. Not really one to play sweeper till he is 39!
