I've read we're interested in Nathan Ake on loan with obligation to buy?

Wow, that would be interesting. I think he ius a left footed centre back which MOYES wants due to OGBONNA being injured.

I see we are linked with Lots of strikers, HLOZEK, CABRAL, BARBOSA and WIND which is good as MIKEY seems to have lost his touch for the time being.#

Is Lingard going to return?

I think the majority of fans would be very pleased to see Lingard back in Jan.

As usual, we’ve been linked with a bucketload of strikers. I really rate Hlozek, but I doubt he is the main target.

If Lingard comes, then the other front man must be an out and out established goal scorer. If Lingard doesn’t come, then Hlozek plus that striker works fine for me too.

I’m still not sure that we need another CB. Both Baptiste and Alese have shown they’re good enough.

{Ed002's Note - The options right now look something like this:
Giovanni Simeone (F) Cagliari need to sell to cover themselves financially and will listen to offers. They had hoped that Atletico would come in with a good offer but that hasn't happened. West Ham have a long-term interest and spoke again with his representative but he would need to be matched with a Centre Forward due to his size. Sevilla have had an offer rejected but could return.
Adam Hlozek (S) has been scouted by West Ham, RBL, Milan, Liverpool, Dortmund, Arsenal and others but has a desire to move to West Ham where Soucek, who he shares an agent with, plays. Has made clear that he will want assurances of game time. Dortmund will push.
Sardar Azmoun (F) Out of contract in the summer and available as a Free Agent. Emerging as an option for Everton to replace either Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison if either were to leave. Prior interest of Leicester, Lazio, PSV, Liverpool and Marseille has gone - but he been playing very well for Zenit and that has also attracted the interest of Milan and West Ham. Expect a move this summer.
Mohamed Bayo (S) Clement Foot have no interest in selling cheaply although have noted that Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham have had scouts at games watching him. It is difficult to see how a Work Permit would be obtained for England unless paying well over the odds for a player often described as clumsy. Don't rule out a West Ham offer.
Youssef En-Nesyri (S) West Ham and Manchester United apparently, via a third party, have made an approach to ask about availability and price for the player who has done well this season, but has not set the world alight previously. Will be off the AFCON when it comes around. Makes little sense given Sevilla are not looking to sell and would demand around €50M but there remains the thought both sides could will look again. It would be doubtful he would be a starter for Manchester United. Arsenal has also shown interest in the player as a replacement for Lacazette but they need to raise funds to balance the books and could only be a viable option if a significant sale were made or a player used in exchange.
Folarin Balogun (S) is frustrated at the lack of opportunities at Arsenal and his "agent" is again offering him around with interest from West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen. A loan seems more likely.}

Phew lots of info there Ed?My knowledge of overseas players is zero, at home if available, I rate Ake and did at B’mouth, a big yes for me for Lingard, so that’s the two for me at the moment from home soil, not sure how many more needed?
Fantastic win yesterday from the team and DM, didn’t see that coming, just a shame about the previous dropped points Brighton etc, but we can’t win all our supposed winnable games, that’s what makes our game so interesting! One week head in the clouds then next bought back to reality, great stuff from everybody, not known expectations like this since being a ⚒⚒ fan from the late ‘50’s ? Great to see Bowen reap his reward for the graft he puts in, hope he bangs more in, lovely Penalty from Lanzini, thanks Arthur for the dodgy cross, keep those coming⚒⚒⚒COYI

That game was the PL at its best and why it’s revered around the world.

See Newcastle are looking at Ake too. Ake played under Howe previously so if he does move I would guess Newcastle is probably in front position.

Toon are desperate now too, due to c.v. and other injuries to players leaving them very short. Joelinton has played better in midfield.shame to move him back "up front".
