Both Milenkovic and Caleta-Car rumours recently.

If reports about Ogbonna’s ACL are true, we’ll need to reinforce CB in the winter window.

Thanks, Ed. I’d read that. There’s so much up for discussion at the moment at the club: Kretinsky investment, current involvement in three major competitions, the striker quandary, unprecedented, successful times at West Ham.

However, I think Ogbonna’s injury will focus Moyse’s mind on CB reinforcement.

Yes a CB and a Striker if we can somehow find money. Not sure we need Lingard back over those two positions.

Adam Hlozek from Sparta Prague to provide back up to Antonio would be a dream signing for me, he can play anywhere across the front 3 and in some respects reminds me a lot of Bowen.

We need another centre back if Ogbonna is out for a while, but I could see this being a loan option and sticking with Zouma and Dawson to start, with Diop as the preferred back up. Don’t forget Karl and Cresswell could potentially slot in there too. I actually wouldn’t be too surprised to see someone like Phil Jones brought in on loan to cover (I said not surprised, not that it is what I would want).

I've got to be honest and admit that I'm far from convinced that Hlozek is the solution to our striking problems that people think he is. Besides, isn't he currently out with a knee injury?

I could be wrong, but after watching him quite intently during the Euros, I just think he'll struggle in the PL. Julian Alvarez may be a better shout should we be able to convince him over Real, AC, Juventus or Villa.

Hlozek normally actually plays in a wide position rather than a striker. He scores cutting in. As said, not sure he will solve the issue unless converted to an out and out striker, but that isn’t his game.

Exactly SDL we done that with HALLER buying him and not playing to his strength and a style and formation and now look when he's been playing in a formation that suits him better he wasnt a big no9 that is going to smash people that he's up against he's a skillfull striker because he was 6ft 3 people just presume he's a big bruiser not the case.

yes we play once CF but need a back up one for when Antonio is injured, suspended or out of form to step in then.
