Apparently they want Â£17M and now Sours are in. Can we not for once pay a relatively (cheap) asking price and get someone through the door instead of losing them to rivals? I appreciate we need to do a few loans because of overall finances but if we can't stump up Â£17M after the sales of Haller et al then finances are truly woeful.

@daisy - dia went to villarreal for 10m.

It is ridiculous, you could say goalkeeper was the least pressing position but we strengthened there first. I'm glad we have a loan to buy here though so should free up money for this window.

Pereira hasn't went to Saudi yet and west Brom have supposedly reported the club for contacting him without permission. I think we can make an agreement here if he goes to Saudi though who cares however I do think he would rather play in Prem. Worst comes to worse we move on to other targets.

Sima I think we can get done quickly we have a good relationship with slavia and they already have brought in a replacement.

I wonder if we are more of a pull than spurs at the moment for Milenkovic I'd love to get one over them I think that would be a good statement especially with them doing it to us many times before.

We are cutting things very fine and the way we are perceived to negotiate it always gives teams the chance to come in and I worry if that happens we won't be able to get or 3rd or 4th choices in if we even have them. Just hope to god its not Braithwaite wouldn't even want him on a free.

Striker should have been a priority, season is less than 2 weeks away, clubs either don't want to sell or we can't afford to meet valuations, I think given current squad state if we finish top half this year would be a great season, we can't do much in Europe or cups as squad simply isn't big enough to compete on these fronts, if we get a couple of loans and one signing I think we will be lucky, i'm not sure if they were banking on rice leaving and using that money for a few new players?

Sima you say a deal coulf be done quickly. We have never done transfers quickly i hope we don't do what Pel done go for what's left like we did with Haller get Pereria and a centre forward in and get Coufal contract sorted.

Quickly by west hams standard, tbf Haller was quality for eintracht but lack of planning led to him not really fitting into our style of play.

Dias goal scoring record seemed to have tapered off significantly in the second half of his season not sure what that was down to but for 10m I think would have been a good option.

Still options though, Edourd, ings, onauchu, sima, Holzek, Armstrong.

Guys, this should all have been sorted by now, no excuses. They know what our commitments are and what have they done? They brought in teenagers that will never make the first team squad and 15 goalkeepers? Its incredible that a premier league club can be run like this.

Why retian Martin if not going to play him? Agree reliance on one 30 ish centre forward is bad unless one can get a prolific forward cum midfielder type instead; or perhaps play Soucek further forward as he is a main goal threat 10 or 12 from m'f. One doesn't need 2 holding midfielders at once in same team. Centre half goes without saying ; hope we finally secure one in the next week or so. Or put Dec back there again as he was good.

Martin was signed initially as a training ground keeper will be on negligible wages and is apparently well liked within the squad.

I fear between Moyes and Sulli it's a match made in hell with regards to the speed of transfers. Moyes is known to like to take his time and even earned the nickname dithering dave.

With sulli we know what he's like unfortunately seems like we undervalue all the targets we go for and get no where near the asking price and deals can't be done.

If you haven't got the money to make the signings you want then you need to revise scout properly look for young talent similar to redbull. Rather than scatter gun low ball bids everywhere.

We apparently offered over â‚¬5 million more lazt year for milenkovic i know we got away with it last season signing an over 30 with dawson but i know we will top up with cahill we never ever meet the fullasking price for a player. oh sorry we did for Hugill and we are still lumbered with him now best part of Â£10 ml for 1 goal i think bring on PAI group and quick.
