Paper talk this morning suggesting that the two Daves turned down £400m for the club recently and that we've made a £600k bid for rangers wonder kid. 🤷‍♂️
Thought I'd give you that because not hearing nowt else except we can't afford anything.

Morning Whitby👋That’s all we seem to do is buy youngsters, we need experienced players to start ASAP for the new season! With the odd exception, none of our other youngsters seem capable of making the next grade to the first team and making the transition! But there must be work going on behind the scenes, DM is no mug, but he can only spend what he is given!
Bit worrying that he has openly said he has ambitions to manage the Scotland National team, how long before they get fed up with not qualifying for anything and approach him! I think he is a loyal man, but may be off at the earliest opportunity if the offer to manage his National team arose? âš’âš’âš’âš’.

Yeah, we've been here before buying youngsters, remember XANDE Silva and a few others that never got into the first team squad. I do think we should forget Lingard cause Its quite clear (after all summer chasing one player. AGAIN! ) that Ole don't want to lose him. We have to be looking elsewhere and making firm moves.

Agree on Lingard, it smells of Maxi Gomez. But interestingly some fans abused the owners for keeping pushing for Gomez who didn't want to come, and now abuse the owners for not keep chasing Lingard who also won't be coming. Hard for them to win isn't it?
