Exwhuemployee saying we might be making a move for abraham over the next FEW WEEkS! Season starts in a month if you want the player make the move ASAP. Why does it seem like we still don't know who are main targets are and why do feel like when we figure that out it will be to late and we will panick buy.

I would still prefer Lingard if possible, but as business dictates ManU hold the whip card unfortunately, it’s all Cat and Mouse even more this window with funds seriously lacking due to loss of gate revenue! I think DM like most Managers are keeping their cards close to their chest, we don’t really know any of the transfer targets at all if any in reality, just rumours as always! ⚒⚒⚒.

Well we need a striker and Moyes wants lingard so i'd imagine we would be trying for both! Personally I think we will be priced out of a move. Its Lingard that holds all the cards really we just need those talks to speed up and we need to get a decions as soon as possible so we can move on.

I’d have Abrahams over Lingard. Lingard was great for us, but Abrahams is 4 years younger and a goal scorer. Lingard obviously doesn’t want to come to us.

Both would be fine with me.

Lingard could force the issue if he was really wanting to come to West Ham, I think he is likely seeing what his options are at United and will also be open to other clubs. The loan worked for us and it worked for him, not sure we can expect anymore than that.

Lingard is obviously holding out for either a better move or more money possibly both these players have short memorys as we gave him a chance to make himself known again or he'd be possibly in a worse position just as it happened he gelled at west ham we should not sign players if they ain't 100% committed to West ham united that goes for Rice as well i'm a great believer in this approach.

Its a big decion for him that he probably hasn't made yet. We are talking about a permanent move away from his boyhood club and if he was guaranteed opportunities to play it doesn't necessarily mean he will take them and could quickly fall out of favour again. Obv he would play a lot more at West ham and if he plays like he did with us throughout next season he could make it into the England squad for the world Cup.

The other issue will likely be, he would likely want to know Rice is staying before moving to West Ham. I think a number of things will be easier if we retain Rice (though obviously the cash won't be easier) because players that are ambitious won't see Rice leaving as a positive.

Agreed sdl. I think Rice owes us at least another season or 2 to see how and if we progress. It should take a mammoth bid for us to consider the sale of Rice and I really don't see teams bidding over a 100m. Reportedly he's good friends with Abraham and Lingard i'm sure they will all be in communication let's hope they decide in west hams favour, that man u, Chelsea are reasonable i'm valuation and daves can find the cash.

Interesting he didn’t go away with Mount as he normally does, Mount was with some other players it appeared?

Could be Manu will use Lingard to sweeten the deal for D. Rice?

But if Lingard won't come unless Rice stays he won't be put up in a deal.

IronAl.
I’ve been reading exwhuemployees reports lately. Truly, I think he speaks a load of b@llocks! It’s this and then it’s that. Consistently hedging his bets. If you ask me, he’s just a wannabe journo looking for hits and comments to generate commercial revenue. Not a single thing he has said has panned out. The news he does give that comes to pass, can often be read before other journos before he comments or share any insight.
I’d take what that plonker says with two pinches of salt and a flat beer.

Iron. Al.

One last thing, he said we might make an over over the next few weeks. Don’t you think that comment is a bit open ended. Moyes has openly admitted in the public domain that he would like abrahams but not at £40m.
Is it not feasible that you or I could have guessed that we “might” make an offer in the next few weeks. Ex whu employee is a numpty mate.
Lastly, I certainly don’t believe that he’s a West Ham fan, and if he was, he certainly doesn’t impress me as a loyal fan.
His comments and reports only seem to stoke the fires of discontent within the fan base when he gets fans hopes up with bogus cobblers and the board get lambasted because a signing that was never going to happen doesn’t happen.
See my point? 😁😁😁.

Yeah tbf I thought ironmikes info was better. I do take things with a pinch of salt and its a good point he does Stoke the fire probably for more hits? Still its a talking point and something to discuss.

COYI64 I have thought the same for some time, his guesses are all over the place and have been for some time. If he ever did know someone who gave him information, I think those contacts have weakened as he just throws out stiff we all have heard elsewhere and hedges his bets.

Me i love all the rumours most i hope aren't true
Like the braithwaite one
But as someone else said its get the convo going.

I Find it a little worrying that with under a month to go to the start of the new season not a lot has been done on the transfer front. Continued rumours abound and now to compound things RICE apparently wants Chelsea move. If this is to be believed then let him leave (if chelsea are willing to pay the asking price) and then get on with the business of strengthening the team.

19.) 21 Jul 2021
21 Jul 2021 01:56:48
We haven't got a great deal of money, and if Lingard doesn't really want to move we need to change quickly or it will be Maxi Gomez all over again. A lot will depend on whether we are able to keep Rice or not, if he goes we need the targets already identified, if he stays it is bringing in those couple of players we can afford to strengthen again.

It’s so funny to read some of these comments about Ex. So despite the fact he has called Nevers from Reading, Odo-Flex from Celtic and the Chelsea signing before anyone else-he apparently throws out random guesses. Wow I would love to be able to pluck three names out of thin air like that and be right. Also called the Kinnear from Rangers one. If you don’t believe me-google them. He hasn’t called any other signings because…shock horror, there hasn’t been any and believe it or not the club are weighing up options. He has also called the betway cup opponents, the first fixtures, the kits and the team in two preaseason friendlies but you are right… the guy is a fraud lol.

Lingard situ - it is a "big decision" for an almost 30 year old whose career had stalled before playing for us to join a Top Six team on the current rankings?! more like a no-brainer!
