I would br well pleased if we signed Traore, think he’s got great pace, strong, can terrify defenders, I think he could turn into a target man up front if it suited him and DM, as Stevie/ Marko said I think he could be another Antonio/ Arnautovic who neither were target men originally but did really well for us as we all know! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

Antonio and arnie were goal scoring wingers in our last season at boleyn for example antonio played exclusively on wing and netted 10 goals, we need a striker not an average winger with a terrible goalscoring/ assit record, there is nothing to suggest he would make a good striker, just buy what we need.

Robbo, buying who is available is the problem at the affordable price, there will always be objections and differing opinions on this site regarding who we go for, we must have have faith in DM and his team for giving us a great season!
I can remember when Lingard was an option on loan there were some dissenters, I can even recall an Ed calling him rubbish🤣⚒⚒⚒.

Is it true Ed that we are trying to make a loan deal for Areola the keeper from PSG if so what a great loan that would be although as Donnurumma has now signed for PSG he'd be further down the pecking order and we could get him quite cheap whereas if we loaned him and he started for the 1st team on a regular period and had a strong season his price would very possibly double as he's quite young as well.

If Traore is a reasonable price we can’t lose. If he can’t score he plays on the right. His fitness record is good so go for it.

Markwhu, I fancied us going for him when he was at ‘Boro, he was up to moving and his name was linked with us but as usual nothing happened and that’s when Newcastle snapped him up, as you say can’t lose if the price is right👍👍⚒⚒⚒.
