Dunno what truth is in it but some papers saying we r going to push for abrahm from Chelsea (apologies for the spelling) I like the kid be good if this is true. Have you heard anything ED or is just what it is, paper talk?

Would they want rice as part of any deal!
That would be my only concern, if we get CL then I think rice will give it another year, if not then let him leave to further his career.
We would get top money for him now and hopefully they will put money back in to transfers.

We shouldn't be banking on CL, great if it happens but still not the most likely outcome and to be fair we wouldn't sustain that level yet. We need to grow and selling Rice would not be growing as what we would buy would not replace him. If an Abrahams comes available that would be great, but I think right now Moyes knows what he needs. He clearly needs a striker, clearly needs some strong players coming through that can challenge for some of the established positions like central midfield in case we get injury but not necessarily a star who wants to play every week. We really need another left sided defender. Probably another strong keeper as Fabianski is not getting any younger. If we can get Europa League and then sustain a similar push next season I think we can say that would be ideal.

Spot on Ed Abraham is a prima Donna and I'd steer clear and look elsewhere.
