Evidently Moyes has contacted Bournemouth about Callum Wilson for £20m. I would assume either Haller or Antonio are going. He won't be able to afford both Haller and Antonio plus Wilson. Hopefully he keeps Antonio and sells Haller.

Markwhu, cannot understand why you would assume DM might contemplate selling Antonio, Haller yes, I but not Antonio that would be unthinkable imo unless he has indicated he wants to getaway as a last payoff?

I’m just writing that he can’t afford all 3, therefore one will need to go.

I hope this is just lazy journalism since it seems we're linked to Wilson just about every transfer window.

I don't really rate him and think we can do better than a soon to be 29 year old with dodgy knees who averages 8.2 goals a season - 7.2 if you don't count penalties. Nah, let spurs take a £20M punt, we should stay well away.

Does not fit for me. Callum wilson is not in the age range for Moyes to spend cash on given his stated Red Bull approach for hungry young players. He also has potential knee issues. We will not spend big money (+£20m in these times will be big) for a player outside of this strategy. More likely to see Edin Dzecko on a cheaper shorter deal with bigger wages. (not saying this will happen BTW)
For the record i think Dzecko is a quality player and would do well for us, but again, need to get players around him so i would rather we focus on haller and Antonio as our main strikers and then Use Yarmo/ Xande and/ or buy one other as a partner for when we go truly 2 up top.
I worry more about full backs and also the midfield cover for when we inevitably get injuries. Pellegrini's reign suffered MASSIVELY due to the lack of decent backup in the centre of the pitch (and of course GK) . The only time he managed to balance the centre was when he played Rice, Obiang and Noble/ Snods and even then it was not ideal, and could never work as a 2 man midfield. One injury to Rice and we are still screwed.
It may be hard to get decent money for anderson and Lanzini etc, so getting a consittnely solid back line and centre park could instead transform these attackig players back to their previous highs.

You say we cannot afford what is info based upon mark.

All three would be on approximately £100k per week. We would need not spend that sort of money. It doesn’t make business sense to have 1 or 2 high earning players on the bench.

I’d far rather go for a Maja. He’s a real talent - Young, keen and will appreciate in value.

We mustn’t forget Xande, either. He’s a sniper and finishes well.

ANTONIO and HALLER are strikers but totally different players and for me HALLER is a better footvaller than ANTONIO as he's all pace and power where IMO HALLER is all about finnese and skill but i will have a bet with anyone that HALLER will become a top european goalscorer and i hope and prey its in a claret and blue shirt. COYI.

Antonio is not really a striker. Yes brilliant end to the season but comparing apples and oranges. I expect some wide men to go freeing up space for us to bring in another striker.

I’ve been fighting Haller’s corner for ages. He is quality: great first touch and immense in the air. Moyse needs to train the secondary strikers to buzz around him.

If he starts most matches next season, we will score plenty.

Totally agree markro and while I wouldn't sell antonio he's getting on a bit and apples and oranges go off. COYI.

The Haller situation is all so West Ham really. We buy a player then ask him to fill a role that he's unfamiliar with. We did exactly the same with Chicharito - When has he EVER been a wide man or a lone striker? Imagine though, if we'd have done the smart thing and kept Chicharito to play off of Haller.
