I reckon there will be a clear out when the season ends. I feel Moyes will sell Anderson and Haller to raise funds. He 'may' get his money back for Haller, but Anderson's value will take a hit.
What does everyone else think?

I’d like us to give Hugill a try, he was bought by Moyes
Even if we get rid of Haller or not, just give him some
game time, even silva.
Defence is a mess tho, it’s standard we concede 2
every game it seems.

Sanchez, wilshire, lanzini, haller, Anderson and ajeti should be sold/ released. Cresswell and fredericks worry me at full back so I'd replace them also. We might even have to. look at another goalie but lots to do in a short space of time. Anybody know when the window opens and closes?

i don't think Haller is strong enough for the Premiership we need a good strong centre forward who has played in the Premiership or Championship someone who gives and takes a knock. Wiltshire i think we are stuck with as who is going to pay the wages he's on when he hasn't played for almost 2 years, perhaps he will come good but i can't see any club paying his wages. The rest i agree with although Cresswells stats were good tonight.
im happy with a draw today although a win would have been better.

I disagree about Haller. Every game he has played he has won the majority of his headed duels. He is a forward who needs players around him to feed off his knock ons. He also has an excellent career goal-scoring record (just not for us YET. )

I would persevere with him.

As for Anderson, I have become increasingly disillusioned. At times “pretty, ” but almost invariably ineffective. He is simply too delicate for the physicality of the PL.

Really pleased with our last two results. Bearing in mind the games we’ve got left and the terrible current form of our relegation rivals, we bl**dy well should stay up!

Markro, For £45m for Haller, if he can’t adapt to the style of the current manager or the Premiership, then get rid of him! Excuses imo cannot continually be made for a failure and a very expensive one at that! Maybe he did it in Germany, but that’s no good to us, he’s had long enough to adapt! Some will disagree but as arp3768 posted, give Hugill another try, if he can’t hack it, then at least we’ve tried? On all post on here I agree with every player mentioned that they should be got rid of if possible! We should have pursued some over here that can take a bruising, give some out and score goals! We could have tried for Mitrovic, Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes to name 3, maybe not possible but they are grafters and can score goals👍⚒.

Chelms, each to his own. I don’t think that Moyse wants to move Haller on. I’m also confident that he will come good.

I would again pick the same starting 11 against Burnley, as they have done the business. I’d like to see Haller get a go at some point in the second half.

COYI.

Markro, of course mate, we all have our own opinions, 👍 This is what makes these debating sites so interesting and good to contribute to, so hopefully none of us posters should not be able not to disagree with others or get aggressive to another fellow ⚒ fan, after all we are all ⚒ fans👍Some are more tolerant or opinionated (me😂) than others towards players depending on performances! I would not have tolerated what I considered a lazy player, I would consider effort and willingness to run and chase, warriors, more than skill or in choice of players! Examples, Billy Bonds, Julian Dicks, can go on and on but enough said, had a few 🍺🥃🤣⚒⚒⚒⚒.

I’m with many of you. move Haller on whilst he has value. He has a great touch but too often he is late arriving in the box. Anderson needs to go as well. Hopefully, that would give Moyes £60-70m to spend. I’d keep the rest. You can’t make too many changes. Remember we’ve lost 24 points from winning positions. If we’d converted half in points we’d now have 43 points!

For me give haller a chance, as was said earlier he’s not really had the service, so yeah for me don’t give up on him yet. Anderson I have backed and backed and backed, but I think it’s time to cash in, I thought Wilshire did well against Chelsea, that guy was one of the best midfielders around before his many injuries I think he has something left to give, I could be wrong I normally am. Lanzini, I love the guy but just isn’t working for him my heart says keep him my head says let go. Noble should be a sub now ready to hand the baton if rice stays. I am going to say it and many may not agree but fornals for me is not right for us he’s too soft misses so many chances, never seems to want to put a challenge in. Cresswell can ping a ball as good as anyone but god if he doesn't read a runner or iff he gives them two yards he’s lost the race, Fredericks looks like he’s not interested when I watch him play so them two I don’t know. But that’s where I am at the moment. If we, when we, if we stay up, there needs to be some sorting out.

Whitby, just confused why you think let Lanzini go, which actually I agree with, but keep Wilshere! At least Lanzini can run, chase, and contributes I read the Wilshere stats that he has played something like 6 games out of 64 since since being signed! Any Wilshere admirer must still be living in the past 4 years or whatever! Any player can pass a ball, I can’t even remember him doing anything when he came on! But I am totally anti Wilshere I must admit, one massive financial mistake when MP signed him, it was blatantly obvious his injury problems to most except MP, I wonder if he’d invested in him if he had to contribute?

Why would clear out Haller? He's in his first season, scored some decent goals in a team not setup to play to his strengths. His Whoscored ratings showed he has done good things too.

He's the only time we've properly invested in a striker with a very good record in his prime.

It's far too early to bin him - he needs to adapt for sure but HAS to be worth another season!

I don’t know Chelms maybe I would just like him to be that player again, I really like lanzini but he hasn’t been the same player since his injury maybe Wilshire is the same, it’s just when I read an interview with Moyes saying that Wilshire is the fittest he’s seen him and he’s playing the best football he’s seen him play, granted it’s In training, your maybe right mate. I don’t really know bud I just want us to stay up then let Moyes makes his mark. He will probably keep everyone I said he rubbish get rid of lol. COYI let’s try and beat Burnley and push some more 👍🏻👍🏻⚒👍🏻👍🏻.

We can't buy players and get rid after 1 season that's not how football works otherwise we wouldn't have seen HENRY and that terribke footballer chelsea got shot of too early let me think of his name as he wasnt that good . oh yes got it DE BRUYNE not a bad player chelsea released and oh i thought of another one LUKAKU you have to give them another season HALLER AND FIRNALS and if they don't come up trumps get rud as you ain't going to get the money we oaid fir them as they haven't shone YET.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea sold de Bruyne for a very good profit and for a very good reason.}

What was the reason ED as I wasnt aware there was a problem only that he couldn't get a start with chelsea my point being ED if you are going to give a player 6 months to adapt in the premier league and you don't then we move him on and IMO it ain't the way I could mention many players that have needed time especially players from abroad could you elaborate on DE BRUYNES problem at chelsea please ED. COYI.

{Ed002's Note - He was young and he was struggling to adapt to life in the UK. That led to a loan to Werder Bremen where he was a lot more comfortable.}

That's my point Ed on HALLER we don't know he could be struggling to life in england I doubt it but he definitely hasn't settled but for me his ability isn't up for debate and I haven't heard 1 rumour of him being unsettled have you ED please mate. COYI.

{Ed002's Note - I think he will be OK. MOney will be tight this summer, he needs to be.}
