Afternoon chaps, are we sticking with Moyes if we go down, here's one idea I've had, if Bournemouth go down as well then I think Eddie Howe will go as he can't take that club any further, would it be worth West Ham grabbing him, we're a bigger club ( no disrespect to Bournemouth), he would probably get the young players involved and he would possibly have a fairly decent transfer budget, I know it's all ifs buts and maybes but I just thought I would put it out there?

Stevie66, Don’t think things are that simple, he lives in a lovely part of the country, he would have a 5 hour round trip to our training ground unless he moved nearer, he has no pressure as such where he is as it isn’t expected for B’mouth to do anything special, as at our club it’s almost as if some success in whatever form is demanded! He would be able to walk into many jobs in Football if they came available, also his family will surely have some say? So I don’t see it happening,
unless everything fits, every Manager surely doesn’t have lofty ambitions, some will consider earning a lot less but with less pressure a better way of life? Even the lesser paid managers are multi millionaires so hardly have to worry financially!

I know what your saying, but Redknapp done it, but I do believe he had a flat in London, I don’t think Bournemouth will sack him I think he will leave to try something new.

Stevie, yes I know Redknapp did, lots of Managers uproot as do players to progress if the occasion arises and they are ambitious, but Eddie Howe to me could have perhaps moved on some time ago I think, but chose to remain at B’mouth, I get the impression he may not have the inclination or ambition to move on or is just loyal to his present club, the supporters obviously love him for how he has improved the stature of the club?

But if Moyes keeps us up, I think it would be very poor of the board to say “now off you go” no matter who was available, there are no guarantees a new manager would do any better. DM needs a fair crack of the whip to shape his own team, we’ve been in lockdown longer than he’s been back! ⚒⚒.

Eddie Howe - no thank you. When he’s spent big at Bournemouth he’s not brought well. Stay with Moyes. If G& S did give him the shove, which I feel would be unjustified, then Pochetino (not sure how you spell his name) is available!

Poch wouldn’t manage in the championship.

Chelmsford I’m talking about if we go down, if we manage to stay up then Moyes deserves to stay.

Shortlist of candidates for me and I know I'll get a lot of negatives
Scott parker
Di canio
Evra
Keane
Bergkamp
I would love shaun dyche but won't happen, we are going down as much as it upsets me but we need new fresh blood, watching us is embarrassing, no real westham players other than rice.
