Athletico Madrid want to sell Trippier for £20m and reports suggest Chelsea want to sell Barkley, £25-30m. Why don't we go in for both?
Get rid of dead wood and inferior players would raise some money.
A midfield of Rice, Selcuk, Anderson and Barkley would be a massive improvement.
Trippier, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell would be better.
Haller and Bowen up top looks decent.

Sell Yamalenko, Ajeti and Fredericks would raise some money, lose Whishire, and Sanchez.
What do you think?

Can’t see either of those players wanting to join us,
especially if we get relegated.

Not so sure on either of these Trippier is 30 in September hardly the sort player we are supposed to be looking a

Barley still young enough but didn't he and Moyes have disagreements at Evertpn.

Where would Antonio fit in. Iwould put him in but buying tripper and Barkley is not going to happen. Moyes wants youth and that i believe is where we should be.
Keeping Declan will be hard to do if Chelsea loose Kante which i think will go.
Chelsea will THEN come in strong for Dec. 60mil+. will buy a lot of young good players to reinforce WH
But only time will tell.

I think if Chelsea sell Kanye it will be incredibly difficult to keep hold of Declan Rice. I don’t see him requesting a transfer or anything, but I could see him saying that given the opportunity to play in Europe for his boyhood club, he’d like to explore the possibility and frankly, whilst I’d be disappointed to see him go, I wouldn’t resent him for it.

However, if Chelsea do come in for him, I am not sure she’d loads of money will be the offer. I can see all clubs offering player exchanges, loans and stagnated payments. If that’s what Chelsea offer I’d ask for players in exchange, which players would depend on who else we targeted and looked to sign (Emerson Palmieri, Reece James, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Billy Gilmore, Ross Barkley, Michy Batshuayi to name a few I’d consider asking for)

Loftus-Cheek and Barkley would be 2 superb additions.

i agree Mark, on Cheek and Barkley but i would keep Wiltshire for another season i'd hate to see him go if he keeps fit. He is class and this long lay off could be just what he needed.

Loftus cheek is another wilshere.

Bideford, I couldn’t disagree more on retaining Wilshere, he imo was the most ridiculously injury prone and overrated player that surely ever played in the Premiership along with a number of others that we know only to well! His work rate was abysmal, very rarely did he run, always hands on hips moaning, yes he had skill, but no more than average and a lot less than many more!
We’d be lucky to give him away as long as he has a contract, obviously MP’s knowledge of English players had diminished miserably in his time spent managing abroad!

I would love to be able to say to keep Wilshere and if his contract was scrapped and he signed a pay as you play contract then I’d be all over that, we cannot afford the luxury of having someone for 10 games a season and we would be lucky to get that out of him, we know if season restarts he will last 3 games.
Maybe his problems are mental as any little knock he’s out for periods of time, fantastic talent but no good on treatment table.
Formals, soucek, rice, snodgrass or Andersen is a good midfield, let soucek and rice support the back which leaves the others to do their bit without the worry of defending.
Moyes does not come across as exciting but I think he will build foundations for the future given a fair crack of the whip.

Bobby, pay as you play on what basis? How long would he need to play each game to earn it, how much per game? my worth of him would be £2,500 each half max and that would be the full 45 minutes per half? apart from that under no circumstances would I want him in our squad! I cannot believe a magic wand could have been waved during the virus lockdown and he Will suddenly be able to compete in the rigours of the Premiership no matter how he performs in any training!
If Rice went to Chelsea, would Lampard let Barkley go, I would love to that if possible, can’t see him letting Gilmore go, would lake Batashuay if that’s the way you spell it as well!

I'd have to say to chelms as you know mate I was a big fan of WILSHERES but I'm with you now mate we had it with CARROLL and we cannot pay £130,000 a week to somebody that's not contributing on the pitch now he's probably costing a fortune on medical Bills as well but on RICE I'd ask £100 million for him because you can bet your b------s if he was at a bigger club they'd be asking for that let's be fair he's on a different level to any other holding midfielder in england IMO the improvement from being taken off at H/ T against liverpool has been nothing short of staggering levels he's lifted his game he's got everything and his distribution is markedly improved so £100 million and see if any takers why should we be a soft touch anyway I'd love to see him and SOUCEK in the midfield although I think SOUCEK likes to get forward which is fine as long as him and DECLAN are communicating which they would be as I think SOUCEK speaks english correct me people if I'm wrong we shall see. COYI.
