According to one report, personal terms have been agreed with Gary Medel?

{Ed002's Note - Certainly WHU made enquiries in early December and I appreciate Sanchez is injured - but he will be available next season. That means the addition of Gary Medel would be a short-term solution if Declan Rice were to leave, which he shouldn't do as he won't get the playing time he gets elsewhere.}

Any truth in us being interested in Dani Olmo?

{Ed002's Note - Dani Olmo was looked at by West Ham last season when Dinamo Zagreb were happy to profiteer with interest from Borussia Dortmund, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Cagliari and most noticably Milan. They wanted too much and he is spending the season in Zagreb. I am not aware of any renewal of interest but given previous interest, it would not be a surprise.}

Just out of interest, do you know if there is likely to be interest in Arnautovic/ Perez? Assuming Carroll will go as well?

{Ed002's Note - Arnautovic has obviously disrupted West Ham's season with the issues he caused in January. Right now I am not aware of any interest in him, although his brother may well still be talking to the Chinese - I don't know. Again, I am not aware of interest in Perez. Regardless, West Ham need to sort out the forwards and get settled. I am told that the club think that Xande Silva has a great future and hope to give him opportunities in the first team when fit. As we have discussed, in addition to the December and January flirting with Maxi Gomez, the club has looked at the likes of Said Benrahma, Edin Dzeko and Max Kruse but there is a risk with each due to experiance or age. However, Aleksandar Mitrovic is a now realistic target and very much the Andy Carroll type player - but there will be a lot of competion - time to talk with Fulham.}

Arnie seems to be playing like a guy that doesn’t want to be there and has fallen out with team mates and club. His problem is that if he wants away unless he picks up his game no-one will want him. Our problem is we have him an improved contract which we will have to keep paying with his value dropping based on his performances.

Interesting about xande too, I quite like him as a player and would only require us to buy one and keep one if he gets promoted which would be a touch.
