IRONMIKE, have you heard of West Ham's interest in Victor Moses and Joao Mario recently?

The original source of this rumour is ExWHUemployee on Twitter.

Not to be dissrespectful to anyone but not exactly a great clairvoyant then this man is he ? Victor Moses is an obvious and could be temporary replacement for Yarmolenko especially as he’s been this way before —- Mario a possible boost for MDF, Both these players are on there respective clubs removal lists However Loftus cheek is where we want to be, but on a loan very doubtful, would Chelsea part on a sale maybe ? but. We would be looking at 20 m plus Almiron and Arias both definite targets for January, with Carroll due for a return before the window takes the need for Giroud to a lesser level IRONMIKE.

{Ed002's Note - Inter would ideally like to sell Joao Mario and would need about €23M but would want higher than that but could negotiate. A loan may be possible in January and he could strengthen midfield but would not directly replace Lanzini. Chelsea has not got Victor Moses on any "removal list" although others are available - not least Danny Drinkwater. If Moses wishes to move on he needs to talk to the club and I am sure agreement can be reached.}

Hi Ed, what is the situation with Joao Mario at Inter, does he simply not fit the way the manager wants to play or have they just realised he is not good enough for them?

{Ed002's Note - He is no longer wanted at the club and is not a first choice player. They are working on adding another CM player at the moment and have some FFP issues to deal with as well and he is one of those they are looking (still) to move on.}

Mario over Moses for me. Moses was not great going forward for us and that is how he ended up at wingback. May as well play fredricks instead of buying or loaning Moses. Mario price tag is high though for what he is.
IRONMIKE any idea on what budget we may actually have? all speculation until we know we actually have a budget to buy players. If no budget then its loans only.
You mentioned at the end of summer window that there was cash available still when we were looking at a couple young CMs. Is that still what's available in the pot?

WH have funds in reserve should they wish to spend 35 m approx, However DGS will be reluctant to invest in mid season unless they have no other choice, Take NO notice whatsoever if they come out with the no funds line, if pushed it can be done, but as I have said with reluctance, as it will impact end of season transfers, and with hopefully players returning from injury less market work will be needed. IRONMIKE.

Thanks Mike
Id get playing Diangana and Perez and see a) if Diangana is good enough and b) if Perez changes his attitude and form.
I do not think its wise to start Diangana on Sat, no matter how much we love to see young players come through it has to be done gradually. They often come on very PUMPED UP as a sub and look amazing for a spell, can be a different story when they start. It could impact his mentality if has starts and doesn't do amazingly. Great option to have on the bench, and better way to boost his confidence by giving him short spells where he can impact a game.
Give Perez the chance IMO and see what he is capable of, tell him he has a chance to play a lot of minutes now Yarmy is out for so long and see what he does. Then come January at least MP will KNOW what he needs and doesn't need.
