AC to be sold? If this is true and the deal is likely to be agreed very soon, then is Monday night ( if fit ) Andy's last game for us? If this is true, then what do we do? We look a less dangerous side up front with out him and who do we chase as a replacement? Or is sturridge deal already been done? So many questions lol.

Just had another thought, maybe our owners are thinking of offloading Carroll to China for big money and getting Berbatov in until end of season as he's out of contract and would be free, it might be how their minds are working, wouldn't put it past them.

Agreed and at £90k a week he is taking the mick. He has spent more time on the treatment table than on the field so time for him to go. Let Sunderland get relegated and get Defoe. I still like Braithwaite who is another that can take punishment but above all we HAVE TO pay the money and GET A DECENT RB. How many times do we have to go over the same thing.

Byram ain't good enough! AC has to go! Unrealiable. The team need a solid striker who they can rely on week in week out to spearhead the attack. We get a bit of rythum going with AC playing a certain way for 3 or 4 games and then he's normally out for a month or two. Ridiculous! Personally i'd have a big overhaul in the summer with something like this-

You just need to look at the goals Defoe is scoring this season at his age, ibrahimovic is the same 35 and has scored 26 goals it don't matter there age it's the way they look after themselves and I recon Defoe could be 40 and score more goals than most players.

Big overhauls didn't really work last summer woz I'd rather sign 3 top players than 8 mediocre ones like last summer, and byram is a better RB than kouyate or Antonio is but he still don't get a game, if we are going to start buying 35 year oldso we aren't really going to progress are we? Plus we just got rid of payet who showed no loyalty and you wanna get defoe back who was just as bad.

Calleri - Rubbish
Valencia - Lazy spends his life on the ground and waste of £12m

Nordtveit - One of the worst buys in our history and we've had some shockers. What were the scouts watching when they recommended him
Matsuaku - Rubbish
Collins - Too old and half a yard of the pace but great stalwart
Adrian - Makes too many mistakes.

Agree with all except:

Calleri - not given a chance, he is 23 and was in Argentine Olympic squad. Deserves a proper chance in first team.

Masuaku - again, only 23 remember him looking good, give him another season as back up to Cressie

Carroll - we WILL buy another striker in summer, Carroll as back up would be amazing (plus I cannot see anyone buying him)

Otherwise all good - personally think fatty tore is far worse than nordshite who, even though played out of position, has not looked up to pace of the prem.

I seriously think our scouts need to be looked at because some of the rubbish they identify is shocking! Go get the Monaco scouts cause they spot some gems. Also director of footie would be very handy. Trevor Brooking would be an ideal candidate lol.

id Keep masuaku, caller and fletcher think all have hardy game time and are young enough to get better also I think carroll enough to keep

we don't have to replace all those players, Valencia isn't part the squad anyway tore hasn't played for most of the season and reece burke can replace Collins

personally I don't think either GK is good enough to move us on but both are decent as back ups

so i'd still say 3 top players a striker, a RB and a GK is enough.

It's been said that the board asked an agent to get offers for Carroll from China clubs so does this mean he is not in our plans at end of season. I still think sturridge is our main target.

{Ed002's Note - West Ham would love to have a 100% fit Andy Carroll but that has never been the case - which begs the question why would they be keen on Daniel Sturridge?}
