So then . no surprises Payet wants out . Time for a bidding war and the best possible price . Shame but there you go

{Ed002's Note - I am not so sure about a bidding war. I have already explained who is interested and where he wants to go.}

West Ham love a cheap option, so get rid, take what we can get for him, sign Jenko 4-5m and Snodgrass to replace payet until the summer 8-10m. job done, move on. You watch how much better we play with payet gone, we can start playing with 11 men again. Thanks while it lasted but poor attitude Dimitri, au revoir

Sorry ed just wishful thinking, let's just get it done and move on and hopefully spend wisely

is this ture he said in a press conference he will not play for us ever again

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure what he said but he was probably answering a question from the floor. Whilst he may be miffed and not want to sell, I doubt the owners have the same view and l'OM are going to be making a proposal - as I have previously explained.}

I don't think SB said he won't play for us again' in fact he said he expects him to come back and show commitment. Who knows what Payet actHalley said. But I think Ed is right, when DGS sit back and ponder the offer that comes I think they will have to take it as anything else doesn't make any business sense. Unfortunately Marseille will probably now low ball a little more than they thought they had to.

{Ed002's Note - This makes absolutely no difference to what Marseille are planning.}

Why? I would offer less if I thought someone had to sell something, why wouldn't they? Sure West Hammight say we don't have to sell but realistically what else will they do"

{Ed002's Note - l'OM has no interest in anything said at a news conference and will be making the proposal they have already drafted to West Ham. It is then upd to West Ham whether to pursue it or not and ultimately whether to accept it. At that point it will be in the hands of the player. Others may come to the table with an offer. West Ham could decide to hang on to him - but they will know that by the summer offers will be less attractive for them as his value will drop. Sensibly they need to look at the options Marseille will offer.}

Shame about Payet but I can understand it. He is 29 and wants to win things can't fault him and in this team he can see the future. I would hope we now go get Snodgrass, Sanson and Iorfa and in future conduct our business in the transfer window with a little more tact

yeah I didn't say bilic said he would play again, that was supposedly what payet has said and refused to train or be apart of palace game. to be fair we won't know what the player has said it will all be through agents and media. personally I wouldn't keep someone who doesn't want to be there or make an effort it pointless and offers will be lower and lower surely as time goes on, his attitude won't help
