Is it true that Sunderland have bid £11 million for Sakho?

If so, what do you guys think? Accept?

HI d4' Will we sell him, quite possibly, not for 11 m we won't, It's not the money at oresent that's the issue, it's whom we get in, and until that situation becomes clarified sakho will stay where he is, there seems to be an un solved issue between SB and sakho, and it's that issue that could push him through the door eventually What I find funny about this issue, is, YOU may remember SAM didn't buy sakho, he didn't even want him in the team! m I suspect when and IF we get the people in that are desired sakho will leave but not for less than. 15m minimum, IRONMIKE.

Id be more inclined to try offload Carroll than Sakho he has had injuries this season and I feel his all round play is better than carrolls, also am I right in thinking zarate is coming back and if he is, is he on the for sale list?

I'd let him go I'm not sure he hs the right attitude, don't get me wrong on his day he's good but they seem to be getting fewer and farther between, and Paul I'd keep Carroll he genuinely offers something different and looked good at back end of season when he was fit having said that j wouldn't be unhappy if they both stayed. valencia on the other hand.

I agree robbo that Carroll had a good run but sakho was out for a while with his back and thigh I think then he came back and didn't really play much, then that fall out happened. I think a lot off fans are split but I am on the sakho team his hold up play and movement off the ball is quality I think we should keep him and let Carroll leave even if it's on the cheap.

Gotta keep Sakho and Carroll imo, both offer something different, replace Moses emineke song (already replaced) and jenkinson plus we need to start giving the youngsters some game time, this new bunch of talent we have coming through have to get some game time or we will lose them . the Reece Burke situation needs to be sorted out before we lose him I hear Newcastle are in for him? âš’.

It would be best to keep both in my opinion. Sakho does a great job for the team stretching the defence with his pace and holding the ball up. I was one of Carrolls biggest critics last year but he had a really good second half of the season and proved what an important player he can be. Both offer something different. If we get a top finisher to complement them then we'd have a really good striker force.

To be honest hughsie and 316 your right I'm not a Carroll fan at all to be honest but he did have a good second half of the season, but if one of the two had to go I'd choose Carroll as sakho is more reliable ( injury wise ) and hughsie I think you bang on about giving the youngsters a go Oxford and Burke especially. I do think we need a top striker but I struggle to see where he will come from at the moment as all bids are getting rejected and don't think we can spend to much as we need players for other positions to especially if we want to do well in Europe and the league we need depth.

For me the key thing is the attitude as Ironmike suggests. There were a lot of rumours of him being unhappy with SB etc. around the time of his car crash. I agree a motivated Sakho would be great, but one who doesn't want to be there is no real asset.
Same goes for Valencia and Obiang. I know Valencia isn't everyones favourite but he has got the ability, and let's hope Obiang has some patience. But if they don't want to be in a squad or play for SB I say cash in and get someone who does.
In SB we trust!
