Hi fellas, ITS budget time! boring, figures here we go PLEASE remember this is my own estimate, and I have been close to the money before, ALSO, at this stage we cannot add in TRANSFER sales, SALE of Boleyn Gross 42m, Payment league 88m, share of new TV monies 140.m Gate money existing sales, 60 m Merchandise, food and drink 10m, TOTAL 340m, OUTGOINGS, TO clear original debts, which must be done by August 1st 80m, payment to LDC 15 m WH own spend on new ground 15m payment for this year already made 5m, estimate wages for complete squad, manager, and all staff 275m, BALANCE plus 55m, ANY sales will be added to this figure! at this time any bodies guess! PLEASE take note, that when UPTON PARK is finally finished as a development! a percentage of the overall final sales prices will go back to WH, as this is sometime from now, best left in obeyance at present! PLEASE bear in mind that WH already have plans to extend from 60,000, to Approx 71000' by developing the top tier, which can be done, BUT will be at WH own expense, this is another thing to leave in obeyance at oresent, that's WHY, we are being budget conscious WH can easily raise100m debt on this stadium, BUT what's the point. Better to build up the way we are going, WH will be debt free for the FIRST time since the 1960s! IRONMIKE.

Are you sure about the wage number of £275m, seems very high. By comparison, Arsenal's equivalent cost for last year (all wages and salaries) was £192m.

I don't know about arsenal, BUT I. Includied all staff along with the main squad, reserves youth, office, ground, directors chief scouts payments to agents etc etc and for the sake of easy reading have bundled it together Along with Aton of miscellaneous bits you
must appreciate, that I'm also working on some big new salaries, and guessing those of whom yet to arrive, it's basic guessing and maths, , IF we move a couple on I would expect the budget to reach 75m BUT I would think that's as far as it go's for now anyway, let's see how this develops, IRONMIKE.

Hi Mike forgive me if this is a silly question in your figures it says we have to pay 80 mill in debts by August 1st would that mean we are out of debt or is that figure more that is a great achievement in itself to be debt free.

WH debt free " That was agreement number one on the stadium, The Club have to be debt free. BEFORE they can occupy the stadium, Obviously, the debt can be swallowed on a bed and breakfast basis, EG clear it momentarily on August 1sr re instate it on August 2nd, easy to do. BUT to all purposes we are NOT going down that route, this is why the club are beginning to look attractive for investment IRONMIKE.

Ironmike, when you say the club looks attractive for investment, do you mean sponsers etc, or do you think the DGS may go down the route in selling in couple years to some multi billionaire person or compnay?

A debt free club, occupying Such a stadium, and surrounding facilities looks attractive, for share of the club to be sold. Probably to an overseas investor, in time to come. , Same applies to sponsors IF WH do well, I think there will be no end of people in the queue for products. To be associated with WH, IRONMIKE.

Hi Mike, you're obviously well connected at whu, but the salaries number up there is too high, even for these massive new players and dgs said already they won't break the wage structure, which I think is a good philosophy, I wonder if they can keep to it, we shall see. also, they won't be spending the whole balance of cash on new players, as they'll want to keep contingency, 1st year new costs and they want to make a bit of profit, sure the players are amortised in the financials, but they want a nice bank balance at the end of it, as they also want to have the best chance of success next year as well. I recall that last year, you were pretty much on the nail regards summer transfer budget. I don't know how the dgs are thinking regards spending, I look at mike ashley who spent c.85m on players, but didn't get rid mcclaren quick enough, and they went down and that's really put them back massively, the dgs will do anything to avoid that.
