I always worry early on when we back off and give the opposition far too much time and space in midfield, but we improved so much during that game. Far more aggressive - Fernandes, Potts and Paqueta worked tirelessly.

If we don’t lose the midfield battles, we have a real chance of climbing up the table.

Paqueta continues to show what a quality player he is. He was everywhere. His defensive work is excellent and he runs and runs. Look again to see his sprint in the final seconds before Soucek’s goal.

I fear Pep might have been watching that very closely.

Markro, agree mate, as my previous post cannot see sense in backing off at only 2-1 up, we cannot defend that well for a sustained amount of time against good class opposition!
Think some have discredited our team performance by saying Toon were very poor, I never thought that at all at any time of the match, as another said, we made them look poorer by being superior throughout most of the game? Keep it up Irons ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒
