Much better potts in midfield bossed it against arguably the best midfield trio in prem, need to keep the momentum going now

I'm fed up reading about how poor Newcastle were. Yes, because we MADE them look poor. There was only ever one winner of that game and if it hadn't of been us then there really would've been no justice.

Amazing though how the midfield was transformed when there's not a JWP, Soucek, Rodríguez or (sorry Andy) Irving anywhere near it.

Defensively we were better than ok, not great but better. Freddie Potts, Oh how I'm praying this performance wasn't just a flash in the pan, I don't think it is but when it comes to us I'm always a glass half empty guy, but FP was excellent today. The rest of the team looked much, much better, far more 'at it' than at anytime over the last probably 2 years.

Not going to bust Diouf's hump for their goal, he's only 20 and will learn, plus he's still got credit in the bank for being one of the only players of ours to really show any effort up to today. All in all a decent performance today, hopefully something we can really build on.

Best we’ve played all season by a mile, no sense to me taking off Wilson and Summerville, however my son in law is a Forest fan and he said he did it at Forest taking off players for seemingly no reason, it really pi—— lots of fans off!
Continue with attacking play, not sit back and defend, try to score more, it was only 2-1 at the time not 3 or 4!
But we’ll done lads great 3 points so so needed, let’s hope they can keep the momentum going for another 3 points on Saturday, but Scot Parker’s Burnley will be no pushover that’s for sure! ⚒⚒⚒⚒
