they said a bid was accepted and Andy C was coming to west ham, then Liverpool and west ham both denied a bid was made, now their saying a bid was accepted but Andy Carroll doesn't want to go, what's really going on??

31 Jul 2012 09:19:13
if the record bid is for Andy Carroll then from jack Sullivan's twitter we will sign him hopefully by tomorrow. that's if its Andy were after.

30 Jul 2012 20:18:06
West ham have agreed a £2 million loan deal, with an option to make it permanent if we avoid relegation and £17 million on top

30 Jul 2012 18:11:46
West ham too offer kazim-richards a permanent contract after impressive pre-season displays

30 Jul 2012 16:24:46
Has Guti played any part in the friendlies so far, or is he still building his fitness up?

30 Jul 2012 11:06:14
We have to keep baldock guys hes been working really hard in pre-season i think we need to give him some games hes putting in loads off effort

29 Jul 2012 18:49:26
Not really a rumour, but who would you guys have in your starting team? at the moment it seems as if the competition up front and on the wings is very competitive, defense however i'm still worried

29 Jul 2012 06:26:07
Has ramis signed subject to passing a medical ? because if he hasnt signed yet why would advertise it only takes a team to step up and offer better terms

After seeing West Ham play Dynamo Dresden last night on live streaming, I would suggest that the club focus more on finding some decent defenders than trying to impress the fans with a 6th striker ! We need to get rid of Guy Demel needs ply his trade in the Championship and learn how to defend before he comes to the Premiership. He was absolutely woeful last night ! Winston Reids performance was also very poor. In my opinion Wwinston Reid is going to struggle in the premierleague. So Fat Sam, Gould and Sullivan - get ur heads out of your arses, forget about Carroll and trying to impress by spending 17 Mill on a player worth 10 Mill tops. Use the money to buy one right back and another central defender with some class. Then pay the 7 mill for Joselu instead.

27 Jul 2012 20:35:43
Castignos signed for FC twente

26 Jul 2012 15:44:27
Rumours are flying around twitter that sold are not only out in Spain looking at potential signings, but also possibly new investors, would be good to see someone buy that last 35% back of the biscuit barons, and push some much needed cash into our club, apparently nothing will be said until after the Olympics .....watch this space

25 Jul 2012 16:25:29
JAck sullivan trying to panic us into
thinking we gonna get Andy Carroll.
Its clear we could get Joselu and
Catsaignos for the same money so
this has me worried

24 Jul 2012 19:15:13
With defensive signings now a priority, Allardyce is stepping up in his pursuit to sign FC Twente centre half Douglas for a fee in the region of £4.5m. Next on the list is a full back and Big Sam's first choice is Newcastle right back Danny Simpson, who may be available if the right offer comes in.

Meanwhile trialist Bilel Moshni seems to have earned himself a chance of a transfer, his versatility at being able to play at centre half and centre forward seems to have swayed Allardyce into making a swoop for the Southend Utd player. Other trialist Colin-Kazim Richards however, despite travelling to Germany with the first team squad, seems unlikely to seal a move.

How many goalkeepers does one team need. And whilst we are on the subject of
goal keepers its nice to see Rob Green
back to his old antics with another blunder

I think West ham need to focus on crucial areas that they need to strengthen before
its to late and stop buying goalkeepers

Defence is an absolute must and if they
think they can survive in the premier
league with Cole, Maynard, Maiga and
Vaz Te they are dreaming

23 Jul 2012 11:11:11
All we hear is rumour after rumour, and bid accepted, then failed to agree terms, player moves to reading ,saints, or qpr. we are loosing out on the best available talent on offer, loosing out on free transfers, and loosing any chance of retaining our premiership status. the board needs to back bfs now! or i fear we will not get the players that are of a required standard. if we continue to miss out on all the free transfers, we will be left with no choice but to dip in to our pockets to buy players, and being as we cant afford to do that , bar a few million, we will not sign any one else other than possible loan signings.
i fear the board are trying to be too tight with there financial restrictions they have imposed on bfs. although some players want over the odds in wages, our inabillity to go a few quid further, will undoubtedly place us in a perilous position , and while we agonise over it , we are told to be happy, and back the team, well the whole reason for this post , is because i back the team , there in my blood, which is why i worry so much for our future

How do all u hammers think we should line up next year 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 ? Me personal 4-5-1 with gk jasskelien rb demel cb tomkins and Reid lb need a new one cm noble Nolan and Diame wingers vaz te and Taylor and stirker maiga

20 Jul 2012 22:23:50
Biel mohsni scores for west ham united developement squad sign him up for the hammers

19 Jul 2012 14:12:21
If the rumours about a possible move for Jozelu are true..and we are fortunate enough to get him..I think we are in for a treat. I never heard much about him before but took a look on youtube and watched some of his games. He has a remarkable eye for goal, positioning sense, pace and more importantly a quality finish. I really hope that ther is substance in the rumours or I will be really pissed off with the knob who posted it.

19 Jul 2012 10:57:18
This is not a rumour but all l want to find out we'res all the stories about k.Richardson , W.Gallas and or other top defenders yes l know there is still 1 month to go for season to start but y wait will other clubs get our choices then their price goes up get our players get em used to big Sam's style of play and show the Premier League where not here to make up the numbers come on you irons forever a Hammer ....Ausie John

Signed maiga 4 year deal

18 Jul 2012 17:12:57
Can we all calm down a bit now Maiga's signed. He's the first, more will follow. Cut the neg vibes, understand that we haven't got loads of money, and get behind BFS & the team. Doc.

18 Jul 2012 17:10:23
Maiga has signed four year deal. Doc. COYI

18 Jul 2012 13:59:44
BBC website today Craig Bellamy unsure where he will be next season!
How about Big Sam move in for him and make him a hammer again. He did well for us beofre his move to Man City and could do it again. proven premiership player and in my mind a good signing and will score goals.

18 Jul 2012 11:21:54
Sam you really should stand down if you can't produce one decent signing in the next week

17 Jul 2012 21:00:02
Carroll has said on ssn that if anyfin he would rather b loaned out than sold personally I feel west ham should act quickly in tryin to get a deal, coz all the other targets we've had have signed else where and the clocks ticking fast if west ham have any chance of getting a good start to season they need to get a squad together sharp so they gel in time for the first game.. Approx been 2 weeks since we've signed sum one and no disrespects to cold but we need a goal scorer ASAP to link with vaz te I don't think cole will find the prem easy this year.. I'm getting so frustrated with rumours of promising players to come in and then nothing I jus want to hear we've signed some prem quality players of which has a proven goal scoring striker..coyi!

17 Jul 2012 15:27:26
West ham united - Are the cracks
beginnning to show already before the season has even started?? Worrying times for
my beloved hammers. I always believe
and remain in hope that we can be
competitive this season, but as each day
passes my concerns increase that we
simply aren't gonna be ready.
I would love to be more optimistic but
when we won play offs I figured we'd
have funding to build a reasonable
squad to compete but Sam Allardyce
has explained, he has lost out on target after target. GOD HELP US!

West Ham Banter:

In response to the bod that posted
at 17 Jul 2012 10:49:46 saying he was
fed up with Gullivan, I gotta say. I
feel exactly the same and I am sick of
seeing teams like Fulham, Reading etc who are no better than us making more attractive
offers and players moving to them.
This is by no means disrespectful to any
of the other premiership teams but we must
surely be able to attract players to the
Boleyn. Our issue is WAGE DEMANDS.
Decent players are not gonna join
for peanuts. I respect what Gullivans
are trying to do and reduce our debt
but come on, give us a fighting chance
of staying up next year.

Investment I'm afraid is required
now and quality of players we currently have will not survive in premier league. Once relegated
we will then lose out on the likes of
Tomkins and be in a worse situation
than we have ever been

17 Jul 2012 11:12:33
If we did get berbatov he'd be a quality signing, he's score 15 goals in his first season 12 in his second and 20 in his third at man u, and that's without regular first team action. He could easily knock in 15 goals next season.

17 Jul 2012 10:49:46
Fed up with the situation at upton park regarding gullivan ,the lack of investment, and the inabiillity to sign our targets, then to be in cloud cuckoo land over andy carroll.
if , as they so eloquently put it, we are to achieve a top 6 finish in the next few years, we need investment now, or we will be back in the championship , and the few stars we do have will move on, i fear for our future, imagine being james tomkins , you know your wanted by clubs expected to win trophys this year , and the team your with , dont bring in any talent , wouldnt you want to leave, back the manager or ruin our beloved club

16 Jul 2012 15:05:40
The maiga deal looks to be over due to the players high wage demands.

16 Jul 2012 08:42:56
Reckon Gullivan are doing the usual for us and making moves for all these so called targets
and as we all know we will end up with
nothing but rubbish bought at the last minute.
Latest news is that berbatov, owen and Rhodes
are all available as is Castagnios but we are
for some apparent reason targettiing
Carroll what a joke.
About time Gullivan got out and sold
the club to someone who is willing to
invest. Tony Fernandes should have bought us
and we'd be in much better position

16 Jul 2012 08:20:44
For those West Ham fans out there, can
someone please explain why we would
spend £15m on Carroll when we could
use the same money to bring in Jordan
Rhodes and Luc Castagnios (Total
£14m). We could then sell Cole keep Baldock
and also have Maiga and Vaz Te.

15 Jul 2012 18:55:55
Feel we are going down once again owners don't want to spend there money probably have worst owners in league wish fernandes bought us the players he bring in now at qpr

15 Jul 2012 17:42:32
Andy Carroll has reluctantly said If a loan move away from Liverpool to get regular first team action has said he would do go on loan .. Big sam better move in quick .. And I no there's a few unsure supporters that don't agree with carroll but what have we got to lose he would b one of whu's biggest signings in a long while who has great potential and even more so to shut brendan Rodgers up .. I've followed west ham all my life and I've gotta say we've lost the hammers way.. Time for a change big sams got us back have sum faith carrol defo suits sams style all I'm sayin is we cud b on a winner

15 Jul 2012 12:21:21
As a west ham fan I've heard it all now. We are unable to bring in any quality strikers but possibly Sam Baldock and Carlton Cole could be departing. What is going on!
Premiership clubs are strengthening and we are getting rid.
Our squad is already down and we getting rid of more.
WHat is Sam gonna do, bring in 13 defenders? I Am puzzled at whats going on. ANyone got any ideas?|

14 Jul 2012 12:47:40
West ham owners need to pull the fingers out and get some decent player getting out done by the teams that come up with us looks like we be going straight back to championship at this rate clyne looks like going Southampton now what happened to that deal wish fernandes bought us now the players he bring to qpr

14 Jul 2012 10:21:47
This isnt a rumour more of a opinion, i think that Maiga would be a good singning but would be a mistake if we relied on him to bring our Goals next season i wouldnt mind a Punt on Michael Owen. Also we need two wingers in my opinion with pace and crossing ability essential if we are going to be relying on a big man like Kenwyn Jones or Carlton who i think will actually have a decent season next year. A centre back will be essential this year as well need to be solid i wouldnt mind going for dunne and collins of villa one for the bench and one to partner Tompkins

13 Jul 2012 22:26:28
Michael Owen wants top flight football and something he will enjoy! I don't see why west ham are not making a move for him he would be great for Carlton cole and Vaz te to play alongside an Maynard would learn so much from this premiership performer!

Similar deal to what he at man U pay as you play goal bonus or a small basic weekly wage with good appearance an goal bonust structure for a London club which would be a different experience for Owen.

Big Sam get on the case and sign him up!

13 Jul 2012 20:38:05
Nathan clyne in talks with Southampton now... Owners need to get a grip if they don't open there cheque book and sign some decent players we will be back in championship next season sack big Sam come back up with new manager same old same old.. Wish fernandes bought us the squad he putting together at qpr

13 Jul 2012 17:32:27
West ham making a very ambitious move to sign arsenals Aaron ramsy. Heard it from a very VERY reliable source!!!!
Exciting news. :). :). :).

13 Jul 2012 11:21:39
Another demonstration of West Ham
intent this season in the premier l
eague, whereby they couldn't land
a target who's contract had ended:

"Southampton are set to sign Crystal Palace defender Nathaniel Clyne after agreeing
a fee with Crystal Palace"

Its becoming alarmingly apparent that
West Ham are still financially in a bad
way and unable to improve. This was
recently also indicated when G&S
stated they had salary cap. Hardly
surprising Big Sam can't attract the
right calibre of players. The writing is
already on the wall

13 Jul 2012 00:05:12
Ricardo vas te to hand in transfer request as he is not happy with wages. He says he deserves more for helping west ham go up even though his wages has just doubled to 20,000 a week. I do not want this to be true but I heard it from daily mirror which is usually pretty reliable.

12 Jul 2012 16:26:15
Lets have a quick look at West Ham and how fortunes have been so far with players they have been linked with:

Matt Jarvis - No Way £11m
Milos Krasic - Non Starter Wages
Elia - Better offer and couldn;t agree terms
Joselu _ Not willing to pay asking price
Castagnios _ Not willng to buy outright

we could go on and on but a common theme
developing is funding, and now they
APPARENTLY willing to pay Liverpool
£15m and £80k a week. This has got to
be another ridiculous publicity stunt
by Gullivan and they are making WHU look
ridiculous.

Instead of messing about trying to get names in the press, G&S need to focus more on
strengthening West Ham and not on the papers

12 Jul 2012 13:29:29
I'm not posting a rumour here but would like to make my opinions and wishes clear.
There have been some derrogatory comments about De Foe and how he left us all those years ago. I think it;s important to bear in mind that firstly he was young and most probably had a greedy agent who never had his best interests at heart.
My wish list for thr Hammers would be

Forget all the horsesh*t about Kenwyne Jones etc
Forget about how Sam Plays. Its important to bear in mind he chose to play direct football in the Championship to get us out of the sh*t and back to the premiership. If he had made us play pretty football and we had remained int eh Championship, he would have felt the brunt of that decision from the Irons faithful too.

Let's give the man a chance..if he gets good footballers with good ability and flair, it gives him the options of "how" we play and how he sets the team up.

I would rather see these 5 player join the Irons than all the s**t that has been mentioned. ( although some good players have been mentioned too to be fair, if there is any foundation to the rumours.

I would give the following players a chance.

1) Jemaine De Foe - to feed off of Cole and Vaz Te
2) Joe Cole - a one year deal ( loan possibly ) to help develop our Mark Noble in a creativity capacity like Parker did for Noble in a defensive capacity
3) Chris Samba tp partner and help Tomkins along
4) Da Costa to return to the squad. Good ariel ability like Tomkins at set peices
5) Wilfried Zaha - Good youngster with good ability

Finally, I would like to see Ravel Morrison achieve his potential by buckling down, working hard and breaking into first team. If in one year there is no progress or a marked change in his attitude - let him go !

09 Jul 2012 18:27:34
West Ham are set to complete the signing of french right back Matthieu ChalmĂ© from Bordeaux for a fee of around £4 million.

09 Jul 2012 12:33:27
You really think Barkley would join west ham you might get him on loan but trust me he's goin no where lol bluenose

08 Jul 2012 20:26:04
We need to sign a striker that has the capability to score 20+ goals every season, not the odd 8/9 that we are stuck with every year with carlton cole. Perhaps Burak Yilmaz? 34 goals in 35 games.........We need to start spending some wedge!

08 Jul 2012 14:20:13
If jones, el mohammady and richardson are to come in and with that the four dodgy signings already made only one direction we are heading. And before anyone starts spouting bout diame, he saw more of the bench at wigan last year than a starting berth, massive signing!

06 Jul 2012 21:42:21
Sorry to spoil the party but Zaha is in Norwich and has been for the last 2 days,Will be signing a 4 year deal on Monday

04 Jul 2012 12:58:05
Ravel Morrison is with the squad in Austria and lets hope he knuckles down as we have a gem as the boy is class and will be adored by the West Ham faithful, but we still need a proven forward I agree but Holt at 31 and often used as a sub for Norwich?? Not what we needed and thanks but no thanks!

04 Jul 2012 10:08:21
I have real concerns over the future of
west ham in the premier league, especially
after observing what Reading and
Saints are and have been up to. Our team
needs vast improvements in lots of areas
and I'm concerned that after all the rumours
we are going to end up only bringing in
Linda on the left.

03 Jul 2012 17:12:49
Holt signs new cut-price contract at norwich after realising West Ham were actually going to sign him if he didn't haha

03 Jul 2012 16:24:21
Not to pour water on the west ham fire
but I've just read that West Ham missed
out on Grant Holt and Steven Naismith
today, but did manage to bag George
McCartney. I must admit I am a little
concerned to read McCartney has re-joined
from Sunderland and strikers we target
have no intention of joining hammers.
Whats more concerning is that every striker
I read we are involved with is also targetted
elsewhere. We clearly need 2 strikers
with pace and power

03 Jul 2012 16:06:17
You won't be getting HOLT he has just signed a new contract with city.Wants to stay with a big club

03 Jul 2012 11:09:20
Sullivan sayin we wont pay big wages but if we want top class players we have to pay good wages so in another word we are goin to get over age players or players who cant get in there own teams. smart so looks like religation scrap again...

03 Jul 2012 08:10:15
Expect a signing in the next 6 days as the players have gone to a training camp in Austria & Neil McDonald has gone instead of Sam, as Sam has transfers business, Source: whufc.com

03 Jul 2012 08:08:16
Why is it we are always promised big signings and get the complete opersit??

02 Jul 2012 22:23:13
Grant holt to sign for WHU before the end of 2morrow COYI

02 Jul 2012 16:09:41
James Tomkins in Team GB Squad for Olympics

01 Jul 2012 11:31:21
Resigned george mc cartney from Sunderland for his 3rd stint at club

01 Jul 2012 08:27:47
Clarence Seedorf has signed for Botafogo at the age of 36 on a two year deal, also turning down an offer from West Ham.
