This in response to your questions 6293 hammerite, two weeks ago I bumped into teddy sheringham at the dentists of all places ( having spoken to him before a few times at david Lloyd)He told me that he'd worked with cole ( raising his eyebrows ) and zarare ( whom he rates ) but apart from meeting valenciia his only work has been with the youngsters; apart from chit chat has nothing to do with sam and has not seen Carroll. Next in response to your sam question I am certain that dgs are building up a decent squad that any manager would like to inherit (outside top 6) they are being advised by third parties Ihave my own guess as to whom they are but amalfitano again under radar and I have already mentioned just some of the names the papers have not ;Last question My personal take is that this is a precarious policy short of david gold prowling the touchline and david Sullivan running on with a sponge what else do they want to control ; this does not look good for an incoming manager either; sam has done a good job as has dgs look where we were prior to their club purchase; sam is black and white no nonsense what you see is what you get ; unfortunatey the club need more than that now; that is why unless we finish top eight ( unlikely) and have a good season he will go at its end; I would rather not have us in messy spurs type fiascos but that's at the command of dgs IRONMIKE

Reply appreciated IRONMIKE. its strange how we saw a completely different west ham today against sampdoria and at times were very impressive going forward (ok, it was only sampdoria many will say).

Cresswell and Potts did well on the left and look good.

I've followed the irons for over 40 years and To be honest have to thank sam for getting us back up and getting us stable (and financial debt reduced). let's face ti, he's done a damn better job than some of the muppets, Rhoder, Grant et al. I just feel that the board have their own ideas of how to achieve success and Sam has his and as such never the twain shall meet. This is bound to have a knock on effect on the players at some point and that will be translated onto the pitch (hope not).

If we continue as we did today I'm pretty sure we'll have a decent season, but let's see how sam sets us up when we play away from home against the teams in and around us

I am disappointed, I would have thought Teddy Sheringham was more professional, than to discuss training and West Ham players with a stranger.

No pleasing some people

The way we r going won't be surprised if relegated let the manager do his job get the players he wants play football he wants that the whole point of a manager if not happy with it sack him and get someone else
